So when lsu and georgia play the SEC ship. bama will be at home resting for over a month getting ready for the playoffs and they didnt win their conference. thats not fair

Perhaps Paul Finebaum didn't watch the Clemson game. They had backups on the offensive line as early as the middle of the third quarter and they were up 42-0 at the half. It's difficult to trust the opinions of a man who changes his narrative on a weekly basis just to run up the ratings on his TV show presenting controversial opinions. Paul Finebaum a week ago - Alabama has to beat LSU to make it to the playoffs. Paul Finebaum now - Alabama is unequivocally a top 4 team. Have a little bit of accountability in your statements when you project yourself as a college football analyst expert, however I expect nothing better than this down the line.

When he started limping they should have taken him out. But he stayed out there the entire game, he could have permanently damaged his ankle in that game and I have a feeling its going to comeback with a vengeance in the NFL. Once you get on that injury train, its hard to get off.

@@cajunjay73 As I told you, I am not an OU or Big 12 guy. I will tell you OU would run up and down the field on any SEC team, particularly LSU. I wstched Texas score unmercifully on the Tigers. OU contained UT. Miss. State lost to Kansas State. Kansas State would defeat LSU. Baylor would also defest LSU. Ohio State or Clemson are 2 teams LSU wants no part of. Just being objective.

Not these scrub Big 12 teams that have no Hope's of even sending one team to the playoffs. Kansas State just lost to Texas so throw that out the window. Better let it go, ... that Heisman just dont translate into the NFL. Let it go joe. Besides, all that sec success over the years, and only 2 sec qbs in qb1 roles, and its dak from Mississippi st, and Stafford from Georgia, go figure.

The reason Heisman winning QBs don't translate well into the pros is because of the type of QB that usually wins the Heisman. Heisman QBs are usually dual threat QBs. The problem with dual threat QBs is usually that they aren't good pocket passers and they often rely too much on running. That works well enough in College, but against the big boys, not so much. Burrow plays a much more pro style, spread offense, and his best qualities are the kind that so translate well into the pros. My biggest concern is that it is going to be one of three awful programs that select him. And no matter how good he is, a bad program can drown him.7

These talking heads have no shame in their bias for “anyone-but-Tua for Heisman campaign”, as they have all season. No college QB has delivered back-to-back, year-over-year Heisman performances like Tua. The media seem to always gravitate towards the “flavor of the day” player: First, they hyped Trevor Lawerence, then Jalen Hurts, and now Joe Burrow. None of them has shown the consistency and ability of Tua, and the NFL knows it. Get this... This season, Alabama and LSU have all faced three top-35 defenses. How do both QB’s compare? Tua 59/95, 1,004 yards, 14 TTD’s, 1 Int Joe 84/105, 1,007 yards, 8 TTD’s Both QB’s are having exceptional play this season. But these talking heads consistently ignore Tua and never speak truth.

Lol at the Alabama haters that think 11-1 Conference champ Oregon deserves a spot over 10-1 non conference champ Alabama , bruh Alabama would have beaten Auburn in Jordan Hare while Oregon lost to them. Oregon shouldn’t be rewarded in this scenario because of their conference strength even though it’s not their fault
