Troy Aikman went from 1-15 his rookie season (1989) , to winning the Super Bowl 3 years later in the 1992 season. Kinda nuts how good the Dallas Cowboys got so quickly with Jimmy Johnson the helm. It’s an absolute disgrace that the NFL has Jimmy Johnson the Hall of Fame, and Jerry Jones refuses to put him in the Cowboys Ring of Honor. What an embarrassment.

I'm sorry but it's very simple minded to act like the Bengals have always been awful. Do they have bad years? Yes. But they've actually been quite relevant and competitive since 2000. With Carson Palmer before his injury they were becoming a real threat. Then they were continuously in the playoffs with Andy Dalton. Joe Burrow is absolutely elite and IMO the clear #2 QB in the NFL. But acting like Cincinnati has been a dumpster fire for decades is not true at all.

No one ever talks about that, we hear about the amazing team around him. That amazing team is so good because Jalen is running it. Aj Brown was NEVER a Top 10 receiver before coming to Philly, no one was talking about Devonta Smith as a Top Tier receiver in 2021, Dallas Goedert wasn't known outside of Philly before last year, now we have one of the best receiving corps in the league and Dallas Goedert is undisputedly a top 4 TE. This all happened because of Jalen Hurts evolution.

Their deals are comparable. Like 10 million dollar total difference and 15 million difference in guaranteed. That doesn't fit her narrative. Just like they claim Watsons contract was a "reward" for bad behavior. They always love to bring up all those civil suits, and never wanna talk about 2 grand juries, in the deep south, that didn't indict him. Doesn't take a unanimous vote for that, and they STILL COULDN'T bring 1 criminal charge. But it was oh so horrifying. And than the settlements. They refuse to talk about Goodell and the NFLPA said he couldn't start his NFL suspension, UNTIL the cases were cleared up. 22 civil suites would take about 3 to 3.5 years, not counting any appeals. So pay a settlement, and go play in 11 games, or fight them, and end your career at 27. But ignorant people like Joy never wanna talk about reality. They just need a narrative.

Browns ownership is one of the most liquid ownerships in the league. Part of the Watson deal was to flex on the league with how much money they could cut and put into escrow that most other owners are not in a position to do.

Man,you all don’t understand. Playing in the AFC North,you are facing some of the best defenses in the National Football League. The physicality,scheme,down hill linebacker play,excellent corners that play man coverage you have to process quickly. Go through your progressions,find the open holes in the defense and you better be able to fit the ball in a shoe box! Joe Burrow does it to perfection. It’s a much harder division to have good quality quarterback play. Deshaun Watson isn’t playing in the AFC South anymore. He’s in the big boy division now!

I hope one day people will be able to grab some context. Joe Burrow has not missed games during the last 2 NFL seasons and the 1 season that he did miss was during his rookie season playing QB for the worst NFL team while playing behind the worst O-line in NFL. It was a major injury caused by a major hit. The likelihood of a player getting those kind of season ending hits are low compared to the likes of Lamar who keeps missing "important" games across multiple seasons picking up random sprains while playing behind a top 10 O-line

Dont agree Burrow is carrying the Bengals. They have a very good roster, Burrow has not played well in the playoffs and its the rest of the team thats carried him to a superbowl and AFC champ game.

We also know that with the best WR core in the league Mahomes would have easily put up over 50 TDs and well over 5000 yards. We also know that even when he gets past Mahomes Burrow can't finish the job. Brady is the GOAT because of how much he won regardless of whether he went to a better spot than Peyton and had a better situation which is why Mahomes is currently way ahead of Burrow. Burrow has been brilliant and has turned the Bengals into a team expected to compete for a ring every year but at the moment he's won nothing and the fact he's 2 rings, 2 regular season MVPs and 2 SB MVPs behind is impossible to ignore no matter how hard you try to pretend it doesn't matter.
