LoL, the morning I first purchased it. Six or seven little purple barrels the night before. Handed the clerk the album and a hundred dollar bill, and walked out. He got to me just before I pulled away from the curb...I'm pretty sure I would not have remembered a thing had he not been so honest...

Although Leon Russell did play this song on the live version and Mad Dogs and Englishman .. the original recording was not Leon Russell … “Who played the piano in the song Feelin Alright? That piano was played by the late, great Leon Russell, an Oklahoma native who moved to LA at the age of 17 and played session work with the Wrecking Crew. Leon was a consummate pianist who played on so many songs from the 60s, it will blow your mind. It wouldn't take much effort to verify. By the way, Leon also wrote many songs that are now classic: "A Song For You," "This Masquerade," "Tightrope," "Back to the Island," "Lady Blue," "Delta Lady," Please do a dive into the many songs he wrote, produced, played on and sang.

He stares at his screen, while she is close-eyed, grooving to the total experience. This was as true with Joe Cocker as it was with the Doors. Great contrast in interpretive styles!

I think there's a Charlie Brown.... Schroeder vibe going on. For sure it was in a tv commercial.

You'd ever know to listen to him that he's 'just' a lad from Sheffield. He was phenomenal.

This song was written by Dave Mason who is a fantastic guitar player and writer. You should check out the version by Dave Mason & the Quarantines which features the Doobie Bros, ( with Michael McDonald), Mic Fleetwood, and Sammy Hagar! It's KILLER
