Nossa, que show espetacular! RIP Joe Cocker

Exactly one year and four days after this concert, he will pass away. What a loss to the entire music world. One of the greatest vocalist that ever lived. He could take any song and make it his own. That's an exceptional talent not many have. The only other one that comes to mind is Elvis Presley. Joe Cocker is right up there [in more ways than one!] with the greatest! R.I.P. Forever remembered!

I first saw Joe in San Diego in 1969 with Mad Dogs and Englishmen. I was in the Marines and I couldn't get a pass to get off base. I went over the wall. There was no way I was going to miss that concert. My God I am going to miss that man! I was so thrilled at the concert that I couldn't sleep that night. Oh yeah, I made it back over the wall, pass the Marine Corp Sentries and just plain danced (or floated) back to my barracks (where there was a party going on after lights out) What a night! I am just sick he is gone from us now. I hope he is in a better place. He deserves it. Can't believe it has been over a year now. RIP my man.

Anyone who had the privilege of watching this humble little Giant called Joe Cocker live in concert, should realize that his on-stage performance of "With a little help of my friends" was a musical gift and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I certainly acknowledge it and feel grateful for having enjoyed it live 30 years ago. Rest in peace, Mr. Cocker, as the memories of your talent will always remain with us.

Like fine Wine. Joe just gets better with age. What a great concert. Great Band. Great venue. So much respect for the German Fans. Can you imagine loving an artist for so long and the vast majority of them don't understand a single word.. I seen Joe when he was 67 and loved it. Here it's another 2 years and he's better than ever. I can't understand how such a great singer as Joe is not in the R&R Hall of Fame. Not enough big money pushing him I guess. What a shame...

in 1987 or 1988(?) I experienced a huge Open Air- Concert of him in Dresden, Eastern Germany. I'm sure it was one of the greatest if not No.1 of all similar events in this city ever. In my remembering it was ike a ~ 3 hours lasting vulcanic eruption or an earthquake. I'm quite sure the crowd was more than 100.000. The Meadow where it took place is oficcialy named "Cocker- Wiese" since then. ... And concerning this concert: the band (the back- resp. foreground- singers included) is terrific amazing! Thanks 4 sharing this recording!! &&& "You can leave your head on!" 😜👍... "Every real art comes from the artists bottom of his trousers." (Billy Bragg) // This recording seems to me Joe's testimony to us all.

Ain't the passage of time just a straight up b**ch?! I try not to think about it too much but it hits me when I see this video right after watching Joe in the late sixties performing. It all just makes me crave a timelessness which doesn't really exist. It's one of the most bittersweet things I've ever known.

This was his last public appearance, at age 69, it shows that he was very tired from his illness, which took him from us in 2014, yet he gave it all he had.."fire it up!".. for one last stand... for his fans. All his popular hits over the years in one last concert to appreciating fans in Cologne Germany, and now for all his fans on KZfaq HD video for many years to come. Good way to make that final bow.... scream it out.Joe, with a little help from your friends. Over 6 million hits as of Sept 2015..... This IS classic Joe Cocker!

My dearest older sister who has passed away listened to Joe Crocker in the 1970s when I was in my early teens and I also became a huge fan. Listening to Joe Cocker brings my sister back to me. Thank you Joe, RIP to both of you.

I Love the way Joe Cocker Stayed True to his High Quality Humble Singing style, throughout his Life! He never hammed it up, never got full of himself! He was There for us, to hear his amazing Originals, and his new Artfully assembled songs, fulled with feelings, and Depth! We are so Fortunate to have this technology which enables us See, and Experience our Beloved Artists/Performers From their Time, onward into the Future! D

Joe is gone but concerts like this one allow us to keep his music and memory alive. I was very fortunate to see Joe in concert (front row seats) Still remains one of my most favorite concerts. This is a great performance and no Cockerfan would be disappointed in the song choices. He plays them all. Joe was an absolute legend.

Merci Joe!
