Man I loved Joe, he talks like a Kentucky native just like one of the people around here in eastern Kentucky. He was my favorite during his era.

I live in Lexington and I always heard rumors that Gillispie liked to hit the bottle quite a bit.

I feel so bad for Joe and Ra. They had to deal with Tubby being boring and losing games he shouldn’t and then getting 10x worse having to deal with Billy being a complete and total jerk/drunk. I sure hate it for them and wish I could change their ending here

Mitch Barnhart's single largest mistake was hiring Billy G. Totally wrong personality to be the coach at UK. And it's not like Billy ever tried to hide his past.

@@PaducahrusI was really hoping for Joker to succeed, but we didn’t have a really good football team at that time. So I don’t think that was as bad a hire as Mitch hiring Billy G. I was not excited about that hire, and I don’t 99% of anybody else were either.

@@bigcountry35 They were coming off of four straight winning seasons that led to bowl appearances when Joker took the reigns. The program might be slightly better now than it was then, but not by a ton.
