But he speaks justice for Michael’s death, he is not entirely heartless, if he were, he would not be here speaking for justice.
@shiyingliu75643 жыл бұрын
@@ethanang3527 Correct. I think Joe did care Michael. But maybe to some extend he doesn't know how to express his emotional feelings to Michael Jackson. He is not that kind of father that would say directly how much he loves Michael. But as he was still standing here to speak out for MJ's justice. It was clearly that he does care Michael. Otherwise, if he didn't care, he could just sleep at home. And you could also see during that period, Joe was outside and even talked to fans before the trials that he needed help from fans for a justice of Michael's death. He did care.

None of the other 4 kids turned out as talented as Michael. Michael became Michael because when he became an adult, he worked to become the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen and that didn't have anything to do with Joe. Joe created the Jackson 5 but Michael Jackson created Michael Jackson. And had Joe let him go to a playground once a week and have fun, I don't think we would have missed out on anything.

Michael, who was married to Lisa-Marie Presley (daughter of Elvis) for a brief period of time, once told her he feared he'd end up exactly like her father did, dying a broken and miserable man at a relatively young age. Lisa-Marie didn't (or didn't want to) believe it, but in the end, it unfortunately played out almost exactly how Michael described it.

The day after Michael Jackson died, a reporter asked Joe what his thoughts were and instead of answering the question, he took the opportunity to promote his record label. This was the next day. You're guessing what Joe Jackson did in private because you probably don't have a narcissistic relative and don't understand how evil people can be.

Michael forgave his father not because his father change (which Joe did not). He had to for his own sake. Nothing good comes out of hatred. If he had been presented an option where Joe was a loving father but not as hard as he was, you don’t think he would chose that in a heartbeat?

This comment section is disgusting. Yes Joe had he flaws but Michael forgave him. Joe clearly loved his children but didn't know how to express it. In Michael's book he states the Joe never stole his sons money. Rip MJ and Joe Jackson.
@LK-sl5fr2 жыл бұрын
Totally agree. Although we may never know the full picture of what happened behind the scenes as far as money or abuse, what we do know, is that MJ said that he forgave his father, mostly because his father grew up in a similar if not worse household. If Joe Jackson was not who he was, the world might have never heard of the Jackson family and we may have never had the King of Pop - aka best singer/songwriter/entertainer of the century. Even if Joe's actions were not right, back in those days, a lot of children were brought up similarly. I do not advocate for child abuse, but I'm all down for punishment. It is biblical and people treated each other w/ more dignity and respect. Look at the gen-z/millenials right now - it's horrid to watch. MJ was modest, sweet, and a gentleman. He is missed tremendously on and off the world stage 💔

@@LK-sl5fr youre saying if joe wasnt the way he was we wouldve never had the king of pop. But at least Michael wouldnt be traumatised and live a normal happy life. Getting his kids to fame means nothing when the way you get them there is through that force. Have you even seen the other interview done on joe? He was asked about his son and he could not care less and started talking about a new album or some shit. Michael forgives, its what he does. Doesnt mean anything
@LK-sl5fr2 жыл бұрын
@@virus3935 have you read Michael's book Moonwalk? He talks about his father there a lot. It's probably the best insight from MJ's perspective we could ever have on the King of Pop and his father. I reccomend you read it. Michael very clearly states in the book that he was never "forced" to do music, he was only forced to be perfect. There is a difference in that.

At the end of the day, Joe Jackson did go to the extreme. He should’ve let his kids be kids and shouldn’t have physically abused them like how they said he did. He did own up to it eventually... It messed up some of his kids mentally. Obviously Michael but if it wasn’t for Joe, there would have never been physically a Michael or the Jackson 5 or they wouldn’t be who we know them as today. Give Joe some bits of credit and respect. He deserves it. It’s not cool some people think he’s completely a rotten man. Even tho he went ballistically berserk on his kids, he had a heart somewhere. RIP to MICHAEL and JOESPH JACKSON
@johnnystang41 Жыл бұрын
he in no way owned up to it. "i never beat them, i just whooped them a little" does that sound like someone who is accepting the fact that he was an abhorrent, abusive father?
