Whilst I do think Phoenix would make a great Joker (pre Joker) I still think the idea of this film is pretty redundant unless done in a very Usual Suspects / Taxi Driver way, as always comment and enjoy!

WOW! This is fantastic, you are truly one of the best! It would be interesting if WB released non-canon stories like this under a new division of DC Films as "DC Elseworlds" or something.

solyentbrak1 yeah I heard last year that Warners was going to do standalone films more. Like the DC animated movies but live action. Great editing and music by the way! Love to see him in the role

Oh man. The concept that this trailer brings is really amazing. The editing as well as choice of music really sets the tone. Love the hints towards more of Joker's origin. Absolutely brilliant!

Thanks man, I wanted to try and edit it as linear but also a bit chaotic yet synchronized at times, such as him constantly "hearing" the echo of that mic in the different situations, and in each one he reacts differently

It's uncanny how well this syncs up to The Killing Joke. Tell me those two hoods from 1:02 ("We've got a job for you"") aren't directly from the comic!

I tell you what i see here, i see a piece of art. There's no way WB will top this. 2:18 is a brilliant pull, i don't know what movie this is from (kind of looks like Master), so for a second i was like "wait, how did he do that?!".
