@@kennyjames4679 you think Wrong. HBO and George Martin wanted to do a minimum of 10 seasons. D&D rushed season 8 in order to free up their schedule to develop a star wars movie. Ironically, season 8 was so poorly received, that Disney pulled their development deal. They produced such hot garbage in season 8, that they lost their next job due to stupidity.

As an older man (58) who has played periodically since my teens years, with running an adventure with a big family group just last year, it is soooo much fun for everyone. When you have genuine fun and get to escape with friends/family it is simply amazing. Great to see Joe and so many other's enjoying the game as an adult. Cool is cool.

i'll add this here just for anyone even remotely interested in D&D that hasnt played. There are groups you can join of new players that will get you a feel for what its like. websites like roll20 have communities where you can sign up to run a game with multiple players. I am DM for a group of 8 new players right now and Im loving it. The DM has to have at least SOME knowledge but even then if you have someone that is willing to do a little research its a blast

the baseball bat thing happened to me when I was about 9. didn't realize my cousin was winding up and I walked right into it. we were poor so my teeth are crooked but my upper two front teeth are straight... and I didn't go to the hospital or the doctor because we were poor. frightful to think of now that I'm older and understand what could have gone wrong. hearing his story reinforces that I'm really really lucky.

I would love to see Joe and friends join the woman who plays D&D with her grandma, niece and mom. I'd also like to see Seth have that woman and her family on a "This is the kind of story we need right now" segment. I saw her story on Reddit and have been following the progression of how excited Grandma was to play. She was so excited to see and had so much fun setting up her character and playing with her granddaughter (OP) that inspired the OP's niece to want to play with her aunt (OP) and her Great Grandma. When OP's mom saw how much fun her daughter, mother, and granddaughter were having playing she also wanted to play. I'd love to see these 4 generations of women playing with Joe and other celebrities who aren't the stereotype of a D&D player. Also, Seth and team, you need to interview this family and get them on your show because this IS the kind of story we need right now!

One year (maybe 8th grade), I was warming up before a game, having a catch with the coaches daughter. His go to line for throwing practice was "aim for her nose"... At some point she lost focus and my throw smashed her nose, it wasn't pretty... but I was just following directions. I was a catcher, so I can imagine getting (and have gotten) smashed with a bat but not in the face. There is a reason there is a rule about not letting go of the bat at the end of a swing. Anyway, I love Joe and Seth, but I"m pretty sure one of them can pull off the bald head way better than the other.

He ain’t lying! Dental work is not cheap! I just had two root canals and two crowns that cost me $9000! And to get one tooth implant they told me it would cost $10,000. I can’t come up with that kind of money especially since my rent just went up $1000 a month about missing teeth preventing from getting a good job that’s for sure! We should have universal dental care.

Come to Colombia. Here the prices are reasonable and they do an excellent job. Even if you pay for first-class plane tickets and stay in a fancy hotel you will only spend a fraction of what you pay in the US for dental work.

@ oh I absolutely believe you and I know that that is true. I used to work for two Columbian dentists who live here in the United States. The problem is who would I stay with in Columbia and where would I go to get this done? So then I just never do it. And I don’t want to travel alone.

@@HH-gv8mx Colombia* ... Also I could recommend Costa Rica, or Mexico. I'm sure there are other good countries. Even in my European country w. universal healthcare, dental is not included. It can ruin people financially, and dental health - which is very noticeable and affects you socially and in the labor market right off the bat - becomes directly related to wealth. But any moron knows dental is of course a totally crucial health aspect... f.ex an infection in a root could go to your freaking brain bypassing the blood barrier! Not to mention tooth pain is absolutely agonizing. The high cost barrier in many countries I consider as a scam by governments and comfy dentists earning millions. It should obviously be subsidized over the tax bill.
