We learned a lot from this game: Pritchard is gonna get it together he hasn’t played meaningful minutes in a bit he was like this in 21 and showed flashes but was inconsistent at times and was good in the playoffs, I have confidence in him. I think Hauser gotta get replaced with Svi, both their defenses are trash but Svi just seems like a better shooter. Kornet needs to get shipped out of this country and Queta gotta take his spot. Jaylen brown doesn’t compliment Tatum the way KP does, they both play off of each other and it’s just the first game. JB gotta find another guy like Jrue or D white to help compliment his game and I think the chemistry will build overtime in that regard with this squad. I think in 30 games or so we will be a flawless team, the poor late game execution will be fixed as soon as the chemistry gets better with this squad. Ik us fans want them to look great and explode right off the jump and score 140 points and limit mistakes but that’s just not realistic with how many changes we made, there will be a lot of head scratching moments in these next couple games but it will all be fixed soon probably. And prayers go out to the people who lost their lives in Maine for the shooting 🙏

I agree with everything execpt for Hauser's take, we know he can shoot well just wasn't his night, also he's pretty decent at rebounding and I'd rather have that compared to what Svi can bring

This season is going to expose how much they need an actual coach with experience. Just listening to him in the JJ interview you can tell he is green as hell. This roster is way too stacked to go out how they inevitably will before reaching the finals. Joe is still in the memorizing the formula phase of how to react to X while Celtics need a proactive coach that is a step ahead of the competition.

it's just an opening game and the full season is still to come. Don't worry about JB, PP or Holliday? they will have much more better games ahead. As Latvian I was enjoying to see KP8 in best shape already in the opening game, but more important was that level of teamwork Celtics have shown and this is only the start ... Keep it going Celtics. And BTW coach have to involve more players from the bench who hasn't been playing this game. Kornet is not the best choice for #5 in rotation.

I think queta might have been a better option than kornet, and should cut down starters playing minutes and give other bench players chance to play, it’s regular season use your starters wisely so they can play in the playoffs.

I still believe kornet the better option but queta 100% has more potential to be the better option, physically and skill wise queta has a huge gap on kornet but kornet is underrated on his basketball iq (besides that dumbass hook shot he took in late 1st or early 2nd quarter)

I want to see him get real NBA minutes because that’s the only way he’s gonna reach his potential, even if some of those minutes aren’t pretty. I genuinely believe his ceiling is a solid starting caliber center in this league… just the way he moves, rim presence, and the space he commands out there. Of course it’ll probably take more than a few nba seasons reach that level, but only if he actually gets some real time on the court. I do think he can be a reliable player off the bench by the end of the season if given the chance. Hopefully he’ll get like 15 mins at least when they’re playing teams like the wizards or hornets
@ramzeezthamightygod

I thought mazzulla played the exact wrong bench guys in this game, aside from Pritchard… but pritch should’ve had more minutes as well. I’d rather see Lamar Stevens who is proven at the NBA level. Of course I would’ve preferred queta over kornet, for both his defense and offense. Between Banton and Brissett I have no preference but I’d like to see those guys in a real game

Svi and Queta need to get Sam and Luke’s minutes. And Oshae and Lamar have to get minutes mainly for energy, but for their impact as well. Hopefully they realize this is was needs to happen.
