Katya's choreography makes me smile. She is the real star of this years Strictly..

I was deciding between Alex and Joe for the winner tonight, but when I saw this showdance I decided that it had to be Joe. Alex's was really good, but this dance just had so much heart and soul in it. Plus the whole fairytale aspect melted my heart. I'm so happy Joe won!

You can always just tell a winners dance can’t you? I knew it! He’s definitely one of my faves to be on strictly, every dance was heartfelt and perfect ❤️👏

The dress transformation! I screamed! Gorgeous little routine, full of charm. Not perfect, but I actually found that endearing. He was my favourite throughout. Glad I put £50 on him to win when the participants were announced months back! Special mention to Alexandra too - That jive!!! Merry Christmas everybody xx

When I saw that 2nd dress, I thought there is NO WAY Katya Jones would do a showdance in that grey/black thing and then she turned into a glitter ball - AMAZING and so creative!

Love Katya to BITS. She's always SO creative. My niece squealed when she saw the costume changed like magic (yes, I am not working this Saturday on the Strictly final). 9.5!

Gorgeous!! This just topped Jay and Aliona's as my favourite show dance ever. It brought me back to my childhood when I would spend my life watching Cinderella and fantasising about being a princess. Katya is truly a genius! 10!

Absolutely love this showdance - I was a bit sceptical about the music, but the slow start leading into the wham bam part was really enjoyable. Loved the story telling too. So glad Joe won

Alexandra was the best most consistent dancer but joe won and that is fair because he improved every single week and I loved his last three week dances culminating in tonight's triumph! If alexandra didn't win my bet was joe and I am delighted he won

Katya knew that the whole Cinderella/Dress change thing was a winner. Starting the song with the slow version, then into the original fast version was inspired, but the frock change - nailed it to win the whole damn thing in the night. Well played Katya. Well deserved.

It was the most complete of the showdances, it might not have been as hectic or as flashy as the others but Katya nailed Joes strengths and created something clean, elegant and fun without throwing the kitchen sink at it (Gorka could learn from that). I prefer a showdance with narrative and focus, something the others were lacking, tho I did enjoy Debbies.

Katya is a genius! She done the change of costume with her husband a couple of years ago. This was lovely, although there was a few mistakes. 9.

My heart skipped a few beats when I saw Katya's creative costume change. Would have liked such a magic myself. . . but alas I'm no good in sewing ;-}

Very interesting choreography, once again. Great mood, great musicality, lovely movement across the floor, but it was lacking the wow factor for me. It was 95% Quickstep. He has improved so much as a dancer, it was a joy to behold, but a little bit disappointing as a show dance. An 8.

Strictly is won or lost on the show dance, this is proved over and over again. Colin Jackson lost years ago, despite being a surefire winner, thanks to an idiotic idea by Erin Boag. Tom Chambers won for his tap routine based dance. Joe & Katya's was by far the best show dance on the night and that's why they won. Debbie McGee shot herself in the foot by going for a ballet based number after all the public fuss about her being a trained dancer already. Incidentally, if ballet is so completely different to ballroom, why is Darcey Bussell judging?

Well, I loved the concept of this very much! But I gotta say, even though it was the showdance, it had a bit too less real dance content in it for me. I loved the whole fairytale idea, and it was so beautifully done, but I wished they would've danced danced more. It was more of a play with couple of dance steps in it than a "proper" dance imo.
