With all due respect to Tom Brady, if I had one quarterback to play for my life, it would be Joe Montana.

The fear of Joe Montana put in Sam wyche's heart is the mark of a legend that feeling of all the air being sucked out the building knowing that Montana is about to win the Superbowl and there's nothing you can do to stop him.

The conversation went something like this: 49ers tackle Harris Barton: Man we gotta get going! Joe Montana: Hey, check it out guys. There's John Candy in the end zone! Harris Barton: Huh? The 49ers players look down the field, and sure enough, there is John Candy, in the OPPOSITE end zone seats, over 100 yards away. Montana then drives 92 yards down field for a touchdown and the 49ers win the Super Bowl. They don't call him Joe Cool for nothing.

As a Bengals Fan, this game may not have ended in the result I would've hoped for, but, this is one of the best Super Bowls of all time!

THE CRAZIEST part of this video is watching Steve Young standing on the sidelines while Montana lit up the Bengals. Just think about what Steve Young would go on to do and to see him on the sidelines with a game on the line is a rare sight. Im 43 years old and remember watching all of those guys live as a kid. I grew up in Rhode Island as a Pats fan but they had some bad years and during that time I found my 8 year old self routing for Joe Montana and the 49ers. That era of QBs has yet to be matched with the amount of great players in the league all at the same time.

John Taylor was a great wide receiver, if he was a starter on another team he will be in the NFL Hall of Fame.

Oh the look he has in his eyes when he plays damn just so focused and cool. I came to Canada in the 80s knew nothing about football, when I got introduced to it I instantly became a Montana and the 49ers fan. The niners back then was absolutely dynamite. That was the dream team.

The look on the Bengals faces on the sidelines remind me of the look from the Patriots after the helmet catch. We're on the wrong side of history and there's nothing we can do.

That was a great drive. Remember that Tom Brady did that not once but 3 times against the Falcons and twice against the Seahawks #1 defense.

I never went to a Superbowl, but I went to a few games at Candlestick during the Niners glory years. Sure was nice. Tickets on the 50, but I couldn't see all that much. Saw a lot more of the action at home on tv with a couple buddies...may they rest in peace.

He was the greatest of his era. There can never be a greatest of all time since the rules changed to protect quarterbacks and receivers. Now they even have a defenseless player flag. Back then they could knock out a quarterback or reciever running a slant across the middle. So yes Brady is the greatest of the modern era but Joe was the greatest of his time. What a team and what a coach.
