Humans go through a maturation period as they learn to communicate, learn rules and social skills, but as humans age they develop ways to constraint the products of the system. What comes with maturation are abilities for delayed gratification, learn self control, and self regulation. Building these and other values as well as a world view -- which humans do over time as they gain more power in the world. The trick is to create a circumspect set of boundaries that aspire to the mentally and emotionally mature view that is governed by and consistent with the best selves of humans. We may need to incorporate the perspective of ideals born out of the world religions -- without those issues of ego and id (old model) that generate prejudice and competitiveness bastardizing the higher goals such as the idea of the noble path (Buddhism, etc.) -- such that as the abilities rise there will be internal merits to behave in ways beyond those governed by our lambic system, or immature human characteristics. Science and engineering can benefit from compatibility with religion (not the dated forms ripping the world apart, but the scripture and subtle meanings within) -- to evolve in concert with one another would give humans a better chance of rising to the occasion and maintain a more idealized version of AI. Just some thoughts/opinions.

One of the first problems with AI won't be the scenario of sentient AI beings turning against humans for their own self interest. It will be bad people using this technology against other people (weaponizing) - as well as making some of these robots malicious and destructive, not because they became that way, but by DESIGN. Anything this advanced is sure to be used by evil people for evil purposes, even if there is a lot of potential for good that can come from AI.

What if we already created AI and that AI already made us extinct and moved from here into space. But years down the line AI realises that because it was made with mans thinking, it started to destroy itself just like man did. So AI came back to earth 5,000 years ago and created man again to try learm where it went wrong with its programming. Whatever happens the most intelligent of us will be needed by AI in future just in case there is a short in the system somewhere. I just hope we don't end up as batteries for the Matrix.

Aside from that I just love how smart he is and made himself as well as they way he thinks! You can just see the wheels and shii turning as he articulates his mind to Joe Rogan (even his odd way of talking in this podcast is pleasing for me) His hunger for knowledge and how when he decides to do something he puts his all and everything into it without having failure as an option. He had one last chance with Space X and it's Falcon Heavy Rocket so not only did he put most of his own wealth but he even put up certain percentages of Tesla and other things he had going into that last test flight/launch (all or nothing) and 💥BAM💥SUCCESS💯 [♻️🚀] Recyclable Rockets/Space Travel Cost Significantly Cut Down💲⤵️ Yeah he made so much money from that gamble but that wasn't the real pay out for him it was taking another step forward toward his goal to become an Interplanetary Species! No matter what his project or even side ones, there all for humanity's betterment 🌎📈 Tesla will get rid of fuel pollution/cut down car accidents both saving many, boring company will make travel way faster but just as safe with many more applications and then Space X will take us far beyond this Home Planet to the next🖤

Ai with deep learning is scary. I mean you could program safety checks and ways to balance things. But you must also think that it could potentially learn so well that it can go around these checks and balances. AI is scary because it doesn’t have the rationale that we do, how things could hurt us even if it’s for the greater good. It could essentially become the ultimate archetype of this is for the greater good no matter the cost.

Elons an awesome dude and I totally respect him as a person and his genius. I believe he is an evolutionist which might contribute to his fear of AI. AI is daunting when you take a purely natural approach to life. Much less so when you understand our spirituality. AI will never be sentient, it’s not alive or making decisions. He said, “intelligence”, but it’s not thinking. Computers only mimic the thinking process by executing preprogrammed lines of code. This is fascinating because it should lead us, humans, to a greater appreciation of what we are and what it means to be alive.

The fact that Elon just has the term "limbic resonance" floating around in his head makes me feel like an idiot.
@HenriquePontes15 жыл бұрын
@TheMoreno1 Basically it means you'll be able to connect your limbic system with the AI. By manipulating your dopamine levels, for example, AI can make you feel empathetic towards it and basically control your emotions. People have been doing this for many years (for example, by using hot girls in advertisements or a cute baby to engage his customers and capture their attention), the difference is that over time the connection will be stronger until it's impossible to disconnect. We're all cyborgs already, the only "problem" is that the exchange rate of information between us and the machines is still slow.

@jimbaker8835 жыл бұрын
I have often wondered if it would go nuclear but in my opinion to do that it would also have to think that everything that would be destroyed is also bad. I don't think you could say vegetation is bad nor most animals so nukes just wouldn't make sense. Creating human on human conflict is more inline, that way it can blame the outcome on humans and not itself. A few fake news stories in the right places and bam WW3. One way I think we can "control" AI is to create programing that can reproduce emotional pain. If it harms anything it feels that pain and realizes it is flawed then shuts down.
