I figured if anyone fucked with Joe it would just confirm to him that everything Alex was saying was right and he needs to fight back or his daughters are going to grow up in what amounts to a modern Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, Fascist Italy, take your pick. If he really got threatened and pussied out, damn, no real concern for his daughters.
