Picolas Cage 60% tax rate at minimum for a services you will rarely need.
@henrytims47454 жыл бұрын
Picolas Cage I’m going to hope you understand what you just said. And I’m going to assume you don’t read his plans since you accused me of fabricating the number. 60% tax rate minimum for those making more than 50k a year, as high as 90% for those making 300K a year (the top 1%). Also keep in mind that he’s not just pushing Medicare for all, which would massively increase taxes on the middle and upper class, he’s also pushing AOC’s Green New Deal, which will cost 93 trillion dollars over ten years and free college, which will massively increase taxes. Medicare for all alone is what pushes the tax rate to 60%. In Canada, 80% of their GDP will be dedicated to health care by 2030. That’s just what happens in these systems. I’d recommend you actually read a plan before you endorse it.
@henrytims47454 жыл бұрын
Picolas Cage it is incredibly difficult to understand what you’re saying. And the reason costs would skyrocket is now you’re taking that program and expanding it by hundreds of millions of people. Every optional treatment, every voluntary surgery, is now covered by the American taxpayer. Doctors will now be payed exclusively through taxes, medical equipment will now be developed exclusively through taxes, medical research will now be developed exclusively through taxes. Can you really not see why this would cause an increase in cost? Can you really not see that such an increase of cost has occurred in every such system in the world? That’s before you factor in the loss of quality. America leads the world in cure research, gone. America’s lead in 10 year cancer survival? Gone. America leads the world in life expectancy when you factor out car accidents, that’s gone too. Now add tremendous wait times to every simple procedure. The heart procedure Bernie had last year? He waited 4 hours to get. The average wait time in the UK and Canada is 57 days for that same surgery, but at least it’s free? Why should a republican support rent control? Why should the government have the power to determine what a business can charge for its service? If rent is too high, move. Rent in New York is thousands more than rent in Wyoming. I have no idea what you were going on about cable for, it became to difficult to read. Again, read the plans.
@henrytims47454 жыл бұрын
Picolas Cage the reason rent control isn’t supported is because it doesn’t work. All it does is prevents landlords from building more housing, because there isn’t money to be made anymore. You’ve accused me of cherry picking, but you’ve ignored half of what I said would cause a price increase. Research, drug manufacturing, equipment manufacturing, doctors salaries, costs to keep hospitals running, every optional surgery or procedure. All of these things will now be funded exclusively by taxes, where they had previously been paid for by private companies and people. Now I’m curious, did you find an example of any part of the country that requires people to wait two months for a critical procedure? The average wait time for that heart surgery is 3 hours in America. The average time spent in a waiting room in America is 2 1/2 hours, in Canada it’s 12. Also in Canada, you attend a triage in which a nurse will determine whether or not you are in need of care and she will either reschedule you for the end of the month or have you wait up to 10 hours to be treated. But it’s free? And I’m not even cherry picking the worst cases. A non compliant diabetic needing to have a foot amputated could wait 6 months in Canada, sane If someone needed a routine shin surgery or had blood sepsis. Read the hundreds of stories of people being refused care to save costs in Canada and tell me if losing your freedom to pay for better care is worth it. I’d also like to address what I feel to be the most unbelievably myopic and moronic thing you’ve said. That there is no feasible way that 340 million Americans have more medical costs than the remaining 40 million Americans over the age of 70. Show your math, this is an asinine thing to say. How many people do you know going to the doctor every week, this isn’t a thing.

I’ve been binge watching the episodes on Hulu and it’s so weird watching it and knowing that one day the host of that tv show is going to eventually become the greatest podcaster in the world. My girlfriend was watching fear factor with me and when she heard him say “I’m joe rogan” she didn’t realize it was the same guy from the podcasts I always watch on KZfaq.
