I agree with Joe Rogan on this one. There is a pretty popular poet by the name of Anne Sexton and she was known for her confessional style of poetry. She was known to have this very aggressive and in-your-face style of poetry that was meant to make a point about her own frustration as a woman in the ‘50s and ‘60s. However, it is reported that her and her sister were both targeted by their father and were abused by him physically until they were well into their teen years when she moved out. It never really left her thought and she always carried that with her. The scary part is that her own daughter stated that her mother, Anne Sexton, would often come into her room late at night and would touch her. The cycle is a very real cycle.

I was abused as a child. I have NEVER had thoughts of children like that ever. I do feel that my abuse has led me to be a " helicopter mom" because of my abuse in addition to what does happen in real life. Abused people don't necessarily lack the ability to distinguish right from wrong and I don't feel they should get a free pass.

I don't think it has to do with being abused as a child because I was quite a bit. I was molested constantly when my mom wasn't around. I can tell you that I cannot even possibly process the thought of a person with a child. I can't even understand why someone would want that. To ruin a child's life for their own sick obsession.. When I went to the Philippines with my wife there was an insane amount of single men with duffle bags waiting for the same plane. One guy struck up a conversation with me not knowing my wife was two seats away between our luggage and told me.... AND I QUOTE..."it's crazy right that in another few hours we can get everything we want" Dude I had no idea what he was talking about so I assumed that he was talking beaches and other shit so I replied yeah my wife and I can't wait to just chill. The moment I've said wife he got cold and after a few minutes moved. On the plane I told my wife and she told me that there are sex tours in the Philippines and you pretty much spend time with young girls and/or boys. And sure enough few days later I was at the SM mall and you see old grown white men walking around with these little kids no older that 10 maybe 11 with full face of makeup or boys with shorts you see on strippers. Shit fucked me up. Beautiful island some rough parts but that was so fucking hard to see and it seemed normal. I took a ride with my wife's cousin to a bar and he knew people in the hood and he told me that's the only way some families can survive. Fucking shame.

i was abused in childhood and i never forgot that and that reminds me the trauma it inflicts upon children but it made me more sympathetic to children,i am extremely nice to them always.

Problem with being trapped in a family that as an active SA is the children are put into foster homes, can be separated, or live with other family members good or bad. The case if the house of horrors and how California and the courts let down the children/ adults. In that case they should of had one big house with all the support services , medical and the supportive members such as big brother/ sister etc help. And the release of their raised money.
