Graham is a wonderful example of sports journalism at its prime. He dosent interrupt the person he is interviewing, he lets them talk, and doesn't try and craft his own agenda. Wonderful stuff Graham!

The man's biggest virtue was loyalty. He never wanted to leave Cleveland under any circumstances. Any other player would give everything to play for Peyton. Thomas deserved a ring, even just one playoff game. Still, the man loved Cleveland and stuck to his team. That's loyalty.

I'd say Manziel needed more commitment than most quarterbacks of his built. His failure in the NFL is that he couldn't out-athlete linebackers or safeties. He needed to become a real quarterback, and he probably wasn't willing to put in the time to strengthen the cerebral part of his game to make up for the deficiencies in physical ability.
