10 or 20 years ago, if someone had told me that Vince Gill would be onstage with Joe Walsh playing "Rocky Mountain Way," I would have told him to increase his meds. Yet, here they are. Outstanding!

@@carolthomas7638, Vince Gill is a Fantastic guitarist!! "He has the Voice of an Angel" (Per, my late husband!) An amazing, talented artist!! I Love the fact that he is playing with, the Eagles. His Voice is perfect to be with them. Vince is amazing. I just Love him!! ❤

@@VincentVader True, and Felder showed Joe what to play Live on Stage. In an interview he said that to Solo is composed note by note .No Improvisation ! Also the Part that he showed to Joe Walsh !

I was at the Festival and this was glorious! Everyone was on their feet, totally into the vibe. Vince and Joe were incredible.

You're really lucky then, he has Parkinsons and is not reliably able to play any more. I had no idea until I read his (interesting!) autobiography. Saw him touring "Premonition" and it was really great, then another time much later with Foreigner and REO Speedwagon, also very nice.

This is actually a Rickenbacker Glenn Frey model that Joe used extensively during the Hell Freezes Over era! My guitar nerd side is quite happy to see it get used again 😁

Alexander Walther I have seen him play this song on several guitars. I know what you are saying, but if you pick a Joe Walsh song, and look at several live versions, you’ll have a hard time saying that he only uses certain guitars for certain songs.

The only original Eagle left is Don Henley. Timothy B Schmidt replaced Randy Meisner. Bernie Leaden left before Joe Walsh and Don Felder joined. The first four were Henley, Frey, Leaden and Meisner.
