Really Beautiful classic car! The most elegant SUV ever made, maybe along with the first Cherokee, 1st and 2nd Rav4s and 1st CR-V. Contemporary SUVs suck in styling comparing to them apart perhaps from the Renault Kadjar. Cherokees, simple and grand the most elegant among the classics I mentioned.

For city use, always put the shift into the D position. It will have an O around the letter D. No manual shift is required. You can lock out the Auto-Overdrive with the dash button, however, you will use more gas. Let the desgn do the work.

I love these old jeeps. Tell you what would also be interesting is, a Range Rover P38A, if you can find one in working order! Greetings from Brighton in the Uk.

I had a 1994 Grand Cherokee, if the door hinge had been repairable, I'd probably still have that old green dog! I loved my dog mobile! I went in and out of state 5 times I think, with that vehicle, very comfy, I old had one problem with it the whole time, I'd say it was very reliable vehicle.

Perhaps there is something wrong with the engine. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h if it is a 4.0L AMC242 and an automatic transmission 42RE takes about 13 seconds. With the AX15 manual transmission, it takes about 10-11 seconds when using the engine at full power. In fact, Jeep is a much more cheerful and lively and interesting car than in this video.

Why are you reving a 4.0l out like that? Thing has to be getting 6mpg with it locked into 2nd gear. And you're shifting 4wd on pavement, what is going on here?

Im sorry to say that, but learn driving that car. 1. Gear selector in Overdrive, always except fast takeovers or steep hills, 2. wrong Information, your driving it Redline in second gear on the Highway, but fail to get a real 0-100 because you dont give it full throttle. 0.100 is about 10 seconds, and seeing you Redline it shows the engine can handle a real 0-100.... so stop driving in second gear but then hide your tail on the 0-100. A pain to watch. Also, casual driving--> you got a NP242 transfer case, put that damn thing in 2wd. not 4wd all-time.
