When Iain Lee went on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, he never expected to come out and be ambushed by 190 selfie-demanding school kids. The broadcaster and presenter joins James O'Brien for a frank and funny interview, discussing the ups and downs of his career, his challenges with mental health, and of course, what went down in the jungle | JOE.co.uk

Two of my favourite broadcasters having a fascinating chat. A lot of what Iain has gone through professionally totally mirrors my own experience albeit in a different sector. I wish him every continuing success that he so rightfully deserves.

Rax Lakhani His current slot is really great radio, tragically underappreciated on a station tgat seems to be struggling sadly.

These two have been the only two presenters I've listened to loyally on the radio. What a treat this interview is. I remember 10 plus years ago listening to Iain 10pm till 1am every weeknight and hearing the most random calls that would go on his shows.

Even though I'm from NZ and don't know any of Iain's work this is my favourite unfiltered. He is so real and honest, he actually had me bawling and laughing until I peed a little bit :) awesome stuff.

Really enjoyed this. I remember Iain from the 11 o'clock show and Absolute Radio. His honesty about the trials and tribulations he has been through is really refreshing in an increasingly airbrushed and manufactured celebrity world

I recognise the attachment to trauma and drama..Thing is though..If your ego keeps running the show pretending it's you and having a fascination for trauma, conflict and drama, without really dealing with the extreme highs and lows you will repeatedly find yourself back at the same place..Just a different linear timeline.. Everything external, job, career, money, status, fame, infamy, is secondary, says nothing about who you are,who you are not. All that ever is,is now... You will never find yourself in things..In fact you tend to lose yourself in them,at least a dissatisfied mind will take your attention in pursuit of things. Apart from that fuck knows and all the best.

I don't know how to take Ian Lee... He always appears fake to me... Think he thought he was bigger than he was/is...then had it confirmed to him, that he is just plain, like the rest of us.. Don't believe the hype... He learnt a big lesson.

Clive Bull adulation? Really? He's awful. All the greats were on the old Talk Radio: Tommy Boyd, Mike Dickin, James Whale etc.
