I hope this interview never goes away. It's so refreshing to see an actor, a human being, talk so candidly. You don't see this anymore. Totally unfiltered, with little to no media training, just a human talking about their raw emotions, fears, and personal issues. Matthew was many things but he was really raw and open when talking about himself. Celebrities nowadays have so much media training that even their 'I'm opening up" interviews feel prescribed and too perfect.

When people look at Matthew Perry nowadays, they often focus on either the way he looks, how his voice sounds now because he's been smoking, drinking, taking drugs, or whatever, how he's aged, and how unimpressive his jokes are to them. I do not think they fully and truly understand just how much this man has gone through and continues to go through, and he still tries and does his best to come out the other side fighting. Hurting, but fighting. Harsh and needless criticisms and words are not the way to think him for giving us so many laughs throughout the years amidst his own personal struggles. The least we could do is show our appreciation and love for such a talented, funny, sweet, and genuine actor, and overall strong, smart, fantastic, and magnificent human being. I loved this interview. I sincerely wish Matthew the best and all the peace and joy life still has to offer him.

To me, he is what we should all aspire to be. A thoroughly decent human being. He will always hold a special place in my heart, because of how strong he was to admit how much pain he was in. That takes real character. He was someone who touched so many hearts and that legacy meant he was beautiful inside and out. RIP Matty Man - thanks for all that you were and all the laughs you gave us…😊

He inspired, he empowered, he encouraged. More than Friends, more than the laughs or the movies, this is what we'll be remembering about him and how we'll be remembering him forever.

He is so awesome. There are so many people that hide pill addictions and will deny it to their friggin DEATH. But he, somehow, knew better and got help. That is outstanding, and I couldn't be more happy for him.

I just love Matthew Perry and think he was super cool as a human being… what a loss for the world… seeing him being so charming in interviews and knowing his acting abilities, he was awesome. And he was the best character on friends. His and Monica’s relationship was the best story line ever 😊

You know, I still don’t understand why his character on the show was portrayed as a ‘loser’ or an ‘invisible’ guy after he got together with Monica. Man, his presence if so powerful, he looked charming and was super funny. I wish they would have not belittled his character like that as he brought so much to the show. Absolutely love Chandler.

I LOVE Chandler. I'm re-watching Friends right now and Chandler is so amazing. They always make him a loser on everything on the show, but Chandler is actually good in sports. Remember when we played ping-pong? He just didn't care to show how good he could be. And when he's serious, he always break my heart like when he convinced the mother of his adopted children to choose Monica and him as parents; he loved Monica so much. He's one of my favorite characters ever.

Matthew Perry has had me laughing since before I was old enough to actually understand Chandler's jokes. And the laughter will never stop. To me, he made Friends what it now is.

Seeing that Matthew Perry is actually like Chandler, both funny, yet damaged. Also, I do find him irresistibly cute. I am more attracted to him than I am to to let's say... Brad Pitt. BTW, I'm jealous of Courtney Cox because I also have a thing for David Arquette.

Next to David swimmer Matthew Perry was my absolute fave and always remember him from growing pains .he played sandy the guy that Carol starts to really like but he 😒dies after driving drunk .you can also see him in an episode of highway to heaven .

Friends was one of the hardest shows for me to say goodbye to, that and The West Wing which (ironically) he was in. And Matty is one of the few reasons why. I love Chandler and I think since I got to talk to, shake hands with and hug Matty I will never forget it. :)

I always found Joey and Phoebe annoying. Monica is a bit bland for me. The other 3 were the big hitters and for me, Chandler was the number one character.
