Joel Ayayi scores season-high 22 points in win over UCLA

Gonzaga junior guard Joel Ayayi posted 22 points and six rebounds in Gonzaga's thrilling OT win over UCLA in the Final Four. Ayayi had 16 of his 22 points in the first half, shooting 9-for-12 from the field and 2-of-3 from deep. Watch his full game highlights here.

Ayayi gets overlooked because of all the other pieces around him but man he is the heart and soul of this team. He does all the little things to help his team win and he can come out with a performance like this on any given night.

Gonzaga plays the game the way John Wooden taught his teams. My Bruins lost the game, but Cronin is winning the war. I have a t-shirt: between the words UCLA and Tradition is a basketball going through a hoop. Cronin is bringing us back!! I'm proud of this Bruin team, and I know John Wooden is pleased. Bruin Basketball Forever!!!!!
