The only bittersweet thing about having a wondrously composed and accurate adaptation of a seminal video game, is realising that season two will probably be just as accurate. Also, great edit.

Broke me too 😭 it's gonna be awful watching the second season especially when Ellie confronts Joel about what happened damn why I don't wanna see them fighting I don't wanna see Joel looking sad because Ellie doesn't wanna be in his life anymore 😭😭😭

The cuts in this video are immaculate and they bring forth all the feels. 0:13 and the laughter cut over "I was wrong," 0:28 with "I have dreams" and all the subtle nods including to the watch, 0:52 "I'll follow you" from the flower to the surgeon's table, 1:03 the shove transition, chills. It tells such a brilliant story. And lest I not forget, 1:21 "save who you can save" cutting to the giraffe scene ❤.
