They grow the most "famous" tea on Earth, but no restaurant in Sri Lanka promoted the tea on their menu... Also, the best Sri Lanka restaurants / food are in Japan. I was mostly disappointed with the food in Sri Lanka, but it's still a insane country. Way better than India.

Yeah unfortunately the best Sri Lankan teas are export only. You'll never find those for sale locally. If you want to drink the best Sri Lankan tea, you need to go to Russia or Iran as they are amongst our largest buyers.

I just liked and subscribed to your channel. Loved this video as I recently returned from Sri Lanka and did the infamous train rides from Colombo to Ella. stopping and staying at Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Ella. I am 70 years old, a foodie and travel solo through Asia extensively since 2017. I am hoping you can answer a question for me - I take lots of photos, but have always wanted to use a drone to have different visual memories of where I visit. I am a techie, but feel I am uncoordinated and would crash and lose a drone in Asia.Of course I'd buy a cheap one to practice with at home. How do you get aerial shots of things like the train when you are traveling on it? And get the drone to return? I presume you might take these shots when you are not on the train and just insert into the video? I have seen drone shots following the author of the video - how do you get that to happen? Do you have someone else controlling it? If so, then is there any way I can accomplish something similar as a solo traveler? Thank you for your help! Bob
