high refresh rate is the same for game motion plus by Samsung? games in 30fps looks like 60fps with interpolation?

Question, I have this tv and don’t know much about applying settings but, shouldn’t high refresh rate mode be on? Also, I can’t toggle it on, just like you couldn’t? Wondering why that is as well. Great video btw 👍

Hi I just bought this TV and yes I have a serious x loved this tv when I learned about it but I have a problem on some games on COD I get a white flickering/fading around the borders like if I’m in the menu also does it on lies of P even while playing but when I put the console to 60hz at 4k it doesn’t do it only when the console is set to 120hz and yes I have dobly vision on what could it be ?

It could be Dolby vision, try using HDR instead to see if the solves it, also try turning off VRR, sometimes that also messes with the screen, if the problem persist then it could be the TV.

I am currently choosing between two TVs and I want it to work in the "Flicker-Free" Mode. I need to give up either VRR or Local Dimming. With U8K, you need to turn off "Local Dimming" or QN90C, you must disable VRR. What is the greater loss?

I have a Hisense U8K hooked up to my PC. Hooked up to HDMI port three with an HDMI 2.1cable. It looked like shit until I followed your instruction today. Good job.

@@elripper1317 It runs at 144Hz or 240Hz. Depends on the video card and the resolution setting on your pc. Ideally, you'll want the game's frame rate to match the monitor's refresh rate 1:1 for an ideal experience. For example, your system should be outputting 144 FPS to get the full benefit of a 144Hz monitor. I have mine set to 3840x2160 at 144Hz.

Black was Black and the other colors were brighter. The only problem is that this tv gets a white spot that grows.I liked the tv so much that I went through 3 tv’s before I gave up and bought a little more expensive Samsung. I don’t recommend this tv.

Hey Joelster, new subscriber. Nice video with simple and useful information. Have you had any experience with the 75" U8K? I'm reading about the different panel it uses but cannot find any comparisons to the other sizes with the VA panel. Some are expecting it won't perform as well.

Hey just picked up the Hisense U7N.The picture is so dim when using HDR or Dolby vision gaming with Xbox series x supported HDR/DV games. I can’t figure out what I should turn off or on. Automatic light send is off and everything is high like local dimming backlight etc. I had the Hisense U8G and had the same issue. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for your videos.

How can you be at 120fps all the time? Cyberpunk can't run at 120fps. Is the Xbox just frame doubling the 60fps output to match the display?

I did -1 on the black level and it looks even closer to OLED. If you do -5 and completely blackout the room the TVs in the characters look like they're actually in your room but it's unplayable.

Is VRR really noticeable during gameplay? I have mine turned off, I was getting weird frozen screens very reminiscent of the old NES cartridges frozen screen.

Can i add sharpness in game mode on this tv? My brother told me his U8H wouldnt let him. I like adding a little extra sharpness cuz most games dont come in true 4k anyway so i like little extra bump with sharpness. If u can tell me it be much apreciated 🙏

I just bought the Hisense U8N and I love it for games and movies I also bought the Tcl 450G which doesn’t even compare U8N was my first premium tv purchase ever and wow I’m now going to start the investment I didn’t realize how crappy the tvs I was buying before 😂 the entire screen literally lights up bright instead of just parts it’s crazy! Wanted to see what the U8k was all about looks pretty damn good to me but not as good as the one I’m currently using now!

That only shows up when you are watching content in Dolby vision.

I have the Hisense u8k but in the HDMI port 3 the PS5 cannot be seen it does not play but the Xbox series model because I follow you on your channel I don't know why the PS5 isn't put on the HDMI 3 port

Please help me, I just bought 55 inch Hisense U7K and in picture modes, It does not show any dolby vision mode as well, Only hdr modes are there despite of having that feature on my tv box and also in specifications.

This is my only option tv, as the mount i paid 250 to have installed dont take the samsung or lgs vesa patterns. Only the g3 but 1800 is out of my range for a tv that dims its colors in hdr. Sadly i snagged a a95k for 1500 but it was defective and theres none within 250+ miles.

Is there any setting to reduce ghosting? I noticed it looks horrible on the cyberpunk driving scenes, just bought the 65U7K and I'm afraid it'll be the same or worse :(

Okay i think im going to pull the trigger on this one, i already have the U8H but i think this one just pop's a bit more plus it's on sale at Best Buy for $899.00 i was going to go with the Samsung Q90C they are very close in comparison and for the price of the U8K it's a no Brainer thanks for the video.

I, and many other PS5 owners, are having issues with HDR on this TV. On my Bravia X900H the PS5 has bright HDR. On the U8K the PS5 HDR screen is dim, dark, and dull. Same thing when you force HDR on an Apple TV home menu. Why is no one talking about this. Xbox seems to be ok, for some reason.

@@JoelsterG4k Omg! Thank you! Only B The Installer mentioned dull HDR gaming on the U8K in his review so far. I have the 75" ADS Pro panel, but I believe this issue affects all sizes and panel types. At least I hope it does. Please feel free to ask me any questions. And again, last time I checked, Xbox seems ok for some reason.
