I was battling alcohol addiction after my divorce trying to blanket the scars just living numb and eventually cirrhosis got ahold of me at 37 and left me with nothing and with only 3 months to live. After weeks left I was blessed with a second chance at like on 10/17/22. I was saved and turned my life over to God. I can be with my daughter longer and share my testimony with others and praying it helps. I'm doing amazing after my surgery and became successful. I owe it all to God and my precious donor. Thank you heavenly father for saving me.

I'm a suffering alcoholic, idk if I can stop its hard man. I'm told everyday about liver disease. but for some reason it don't stop me. I wish it was a wake up call I just don't know what to do I'm so lost sorry man just needed to rant a little but congratulations brother on your survival may even more piece come your way

And what sucks is the world has gotten a lot meaner and louder and forced so much more instant gratification going on. At least my demon of choice is illegal- I am sooo grateful to the time I did & stayed in on an200$!bond - bc it saved my life and if you need to talk and are able to be respectful and not looking for something else, I’m down to share my experience & lyk about a few different pro Megan’s and a whole culture of like minded fed up addicts in recovery working together to create safe spaces, options, devote time to HEAR not just respond and raise awareness, and give back to the community they once took advantage of and make a difference. Lost my 23 year old son in 2023. He kept looking to Christ. He felt he had fully surrendered. He was setting up going back to detox /recovery the day he overdosed after a few day relapse. Two of his friends, both Christians, are also struggling still. Prayers for everyone in addiction

So many of my close familia have passed on to the heavens because of over doses and suicide My 18 year old is out being wild some days he’s trying thou. I miss when he was little. I struggled with drugs until my family got me on a program called drug court and after 5 years of it I completed it in September and i graduate in February 2024 most of this kind of music helped me an this song just really touched the right spot with the soul and myself ❤

Joe Nester. Your work is a hand from god reaching deeper into my soul than any of my cherished Jesus Jams. It profoundly inspires me to take up my sword against my demons to fight for gods design for myself. And prospectively help others fight their demons, as my heart has always longed to do. The production quality of your work seems top notch. Your albums pump soooo good out my truck and home stereos. Your art reaches deep emotions in me. I dance and I cry. I never cry, but I cry with you. You're the coolest cat I've come across and must have 2 feet on your path. A commander in Gods Army. I like your beard too. I am exploring all your albums and love every song. I cant choose a favorite, like half of them (as opposed to typically 1 or 2) are my favorites. Your gonna dominate my playlist, and since I pretty much never turn off my stereos, my inner and outer circle will surely know the art performed by Joe Nester. Those are the demons trying to pull me away from God’s love. They’re never gonna take my soul! those that see this, I know ya dont know me, but that does not mean you cant drop a PRAYER for me. I been facing the biggest battle ever in my life since Aug 22 2023, my personal Egypt. While the storm is smashing me from all sides I stand still, looking, listening, watching, waiting and any and all PRAYERS are wanted and needed. I cant put into words how defeated i feel how inferior i feel. I have never been tested like this in my life. For Yall: All Mighty GOD, i PRAY for all here now as well who need you GOD, you know the needs as they wander thru their Egypt, looking for the Promise Land, We all have our own Egypt and the only way thru is YOU. i PRAY YOU provide peace, strength, understanding and comfort for those in need. To you GOD, be all the Praise, Honor and Glory, CHRIST NAME AMEN, GOD BLESS all Even If, My hope is YOU alone #keepsteppingandstaystrong GOD has us all in his hands, the broken, lost, and hurt. To the ones who broke 'em. ❤️ I've been bleeding fine, the waves are crashing down and it's all tied together like a letter in the drawer. A black hair tie, an envelope, ties to the past finally sealed that won't be delivered. It's been a hard road letting go of the way we felt, and it's been even harder letting go of what we all call hope. It took quite a time just to set my heart free, it's a bit numbing but healing is happening. My soul is listening to lyrics like it never has before.
