My mom swears she was almost a Bundy victim down in Florida, she lived in the area he was lurking. My dad claims she was too ugly. Both have valid points. For those who wanted more backstory: My mom was walking home from school with a friend when a VW Beetle was following and they ran, that’s what Bundy was driving. She now calls them Bundymobiles. Also, my mom isn’t ugly, we’re just a sarcastic family and nothing was ever off limits if it got a laugh. Glad I made some laughs, that’s what it’s all about at the end of the day. Thanks!

Excuse me if I doubt his story. He gave 1978 as the approximate year this woman was on a date with him. Anyone who knows anything about Teddy knows he did his final ones in January and February, 1978, and was arrested around Valentine's Day. There are quite a few stories which are similar. Some of the women may be telling the truth.

The story about Ted Bundy at 3:49 -- I heard the same story 40 years ago from a girlfriend of the girl who walked out on Ted Bundy at the restaurant. As I recall, the girl was a BYU student and she was at Brick Oven Pizza in Provo on a first date with Ted. Then sitting at the table she had an overwhelming feeling that Ted was evil - so she excused herself to "go to the restroom" & just didn't go back. It was ~2-3(?) years later when she saw Ted's picture and learned who he was.

That part about Bundy's face changing is interesting because others have said the same thing about him. His long-time girlfriend said they were rafting one day when he suddenly pushed her into the water and she almost drowned. She eventually managed to pull herself back up and just saw Ted sitting there with a blank expression on his face as if he wasn't really there. Others have also claimed that Bundy's eyes would go black when he was ready to kill. Crazy stuff.

It's a month late so I don't know if anybody's going to read this comment. Interesting story I worked for a mental health facility where we had a high-profile killer. The head of the facility who is also a professor at a neighboring college talk to me when I asked her questions about this person and what he was like. She said she was tempted or almost believed that he had disassociative identity disorder or multiple personality disorder because his eyes would literally change colors when she was speaking with him. She had never encountered in her career which had been tenured somebody like him before so this description that he's giving is much like the description that she gave me when I inquired about what this killer was like. Hope this makes sense talk-to-text

My friend is a nurse and she was driving to work one night when a man with red hair started following her in his car. He kept beeping his horn like he wanted her to pull over and followed her all the way to the nursing home where she worked. She was creeped out and did not stop until she got the the nursing home where she parked and quickly walked over to where other staff were. He got out of his car and followed her but backed away when he saw other people. He said something like. 'I just wanted to warn you your tyre was wobbly. You should get it looked at' and then left. Several days later she saw a newspaper article that man with red hair was wanted by the police. He had stalked and raped several woman, often pulling them over in his car under the pretext that there was mechanical trouble with their car.

That look from Bundy Chris talked about that happened to his moms friend, was the same look a man gave me when I was a child (9 or 10) and in line at a grocery story. He kept turning around and staring at me. The cashier picked up on something and had enough sense to ask me if I wanted to stay at the store with her until she called my mom and I said yes. Well, the guy ended up leaving but I was young and didn't know my phone number and thought I was going to get in trouble so I ended up leaving the store. As soon as I crossed the street that same guy pulled up in his car telling me that my mother sent him to get me and I knew he was lying so I started to run. Thats when he stepped on the gas and started to chase me with his car. When I got around the corner he got out of his car and caught up to me and grabbed me by my hood and kept telling me that I got it wrong to just get in the fucking car! I managed to break free, run through a yard while he was still chasing me. He almost caught up but luckily there was a fence he was too old to climb and being a kid, I was able to climb the fence with ease and get home. But what I remember most was his dead eyes and the way he stared at me. He was going to kill me. This happened in 78 or 79. The decade all the serial killers were out there.

For people who had a run-in with a serial killer, predator, killer, sadist, etc to those who escaped, ran away, got away, etc they lived to tell the tale and thank you for sharing. There are some people who never share their experiences. You escaped with your life and you are forever altered. When you see a face change, eyes go black, you are in the presence of evil and you never forget it.

My aunt claimed once that her friend or roommate or something had a run in. Yeah everyone claimed to have because it was hot news. Made you famous in the neighborhood for a day. Similarly, my dad said that his uncle once claimed he was arrested with jimmy hoffa during some union strike, and they had their photo together in the paper both cuffed to each other. No proof or photo has ever been found. So I think it’s the same thing. Anyone who was notorious during a time period, all of a sudden everyone is claiming the knew that person

I'm 35...when I was 6 or 7 walking home from school with my sister that is 3 yrs older than me a man pulled into a driveway we just walked across on the sidewalk. I heard the car n turned to look back n seen it pull in the driveway. I turned back around n kept walking following my sister. Next thing I knew he grabbed my arm pulling me towards his car, his driver side door still open. I was screaming my sister ran n was pulling ny other arm screaming cars started slowing n paying attention so he let go and sped off. We ran and hid behind a big tree in front of a church that was just a few houses down. I can still remember the look in his face. FF 3 yrs later. Me and my sister are walking home. We didn't take the front road after the first instance (mind you I have kids and I have no fkn clue why my parents still allowed us to walk. My child's school is a block away and she didn't walk once!) Anyways...we took the back way thru a corn field when it was cut. On the way nothing was out of ordinary.. on way back there was a black garbage bag in the field. Me being a kid, curious wondering where this bag came from... I went to open it. I had my hand on it... again my sister grabbed my hand n drug me the block home. 45 min later cops swat feds helicopters etc are over that field. There had been a little girl missing and she was in that black garbage bag. I thank God for my sister...saving my life the first time. And saving me from seeing that little girl, that was the same age as mendead, in that garbage bag. Trust me ny life has been hell since and seen and been thru a lot of messed up things. Just glad I didn't go thru those 2 possibilities. I live 5 blocks from where those things happened. I about have full blown panic attack going by those areas every time. So I got the roads around to avoid those areas if possible.. town is 12,000 ppl central hell hole Illinois.. These days things are much worse. Stay safe and keep kiddos safe.

i worked at a luxury department store and at our coffee shop there was a guy who i always felt uncomfortable around. My coworkers had agreed that he had creepy vibes so I always kept my distance. A friend of mine decided to google him after an incident left her feeling like he was seriously off. Turns out he had just gotten out of jail after a 10 year sentence for raping and abusing several girls as young as 11. She contacted our security team and he was instantly fired and barred from the store. A few months later he strangled a 21 year old girl to death. Moral of the story: trust your gut about creepy men. better to be considered rude than be dead. also google people for yourself, not everyone does their due diligence.

You've got a great intuition. Most people don't..especially when it comes to reading people. Sometimes the only clue that someone is dangerous is that you just get a weird feeling about someone. That and abnormal eye contact...someone might be cool and charismatic..but if they hold their gaze a little too long..run for the hills. Crazy murderer link story. I grew up near Diamond Bar CA where the Nightstalker committed his last murder (or one of the last). My mom had the same reaction upon seeing the mugshot and always tells her story when he comes up on tv. She saw the Nightstalker at her bathroom window (daytime) as she got out of the shower. We had just moved into a newly developed suburb, which is adjacent to Diamond Bar (most eastern LA county), so there were no fences between houses yet. He was caught in East LA only a few days later. Stories like hers and Chris' mom's friend are so compelling because it makes you wonder how many potential victims got lucky.

My exes mom when she was 22-23 was being followed in Lake City Florida by a man. She saw him a couple of times. Her husband worked nights and she asked him to call out of work. He slept on the couch and was woken up by the guy trying to break in. Two days later the guy was caught after killing a young girl who lived on her parents street. The guy was Ted Bundy. The young girl he killed was her little brothers best friend. Her brother ended up becoming a cop and then a detective because of the impact of his friend being killed by Bundy. True story. Lead det. on SOS never believed D.B. acted alone. He was onto the Process church that Berkowitz hung with and an animal shelter where they got "sacrificial" animals. @zenzorkle5160 15 күн бұрын
Reason the SOS conspiracy seems far fetched is because the ballistics from the crime scenes all matched to the same gun. So are we to believe this cult just passed the same gun around to multiple members of the cult to go out on different nights of the week to commit murders? Meh, sorry not buying it.. Also if it was a conspiracy, seems pretty convenient Berkowittz has the gun in his possession when the cops arrested him..AKA that it wasn't in the possession of another cult member at the time. See what I mean? Simple logic and deduction pretty much makes the cult claim kind of hard to believe..

I forgot that Otis Toole, who was Henry Lee Lucas's alleged partner-in-crime and gay lover, was posthumously declared to be the murderer of Adam Walsh, John Walsh's son (of America's Most Wanted fame). I suspect that is B.S. as well. Toole's car was lost while in police custody, along with any hard evidence that he committed that crime. Who knows. Be careful out there. I also forgot that Henry Lee Lucas's mother used to force him to watch her have sex with strangers, which of course isn't psychologically healthy or normal. Sexualizing children is going to produce so many shivering shells of human beings that I honestly don't really care if a comet hits this planet. Children should be nurtured and protected, not used as blow-up dolls or unwitting voyeurs to maximize dopamine hits.

A former work co-worker at a college in Denver, shared that she had grown up in Texas. In the mid to late 1970's she was trying to catch a bus on the outskirts of town to go home. She was in her late teens in the 1970's and waited for this bus after sunset alone. An old pick-up truck with two scraggly guys kept asking her for a ride, she'd say no, and they'd drive around the block. This kept going on for an eternity, was probably only 15-20 minutes, until an elderly black lady showed up and stood next to my now frightened colleague. The elderly black lady would answer the guys and told them they were waiting for the bus. The guys eventually left, the delayed bus showed up and my colleague made it home safe. Years later she saw a news article about Otis Toole and Henry Lee Lucas and she got scared remembering that night alone at the bus stop. Those were the two guys in the truck driving around her bus stop and asking her if she wanted a ride. She was in panic mode when she was telling this story.

My mom was dating a guy in the early 80’s as a teen. It wasn’t long before she realized something was very off about him. She ended it quickly and my dad had been trying to win her heart over. He did pretty quickly and a week later the guy and his friend were arrested for r*aping two girls in the woods and killed one of them. The other little girl miraculously survived and played dead. She ended up finding help. This happened in Vermont. Their names are Louis Hamlin Jr and Jamie Savage SIDE NOTE: Ted Bundy was born in Burlington Vermont.

The guy who played the serial killer in Blackbird received a Golden Globe for his performance. One of the best limited series out right now that nobody is talking about.
