Douglas Murray is the perfect Rogan guest. Intellectual, yet down to earth. Doesn't suck up to Joe, yet isn't weird or confrontational about it. Has his own input to the conversation, yet isn't overbearing. 10/10 would like to see him again.

@@mistymeaner1753 Yep he is almost the last bastion in rationality. DM was the person who set me straight over Israel and Hamas. In the UK I am still gobsmacked that as a nation we allowed thousands of vile brain dead people take to the streets calling for a Holocaust in Israel on the very day we celebrate the end of WWII where we ended a Holocaust in Europe. I thought that was part of our national identity, how proud we are at stopping Hitler killing millions more Jews. Now this nonsense has dominated our landscape for too long. I don't think people really understand what they are supporting. But yeah, DM is an interesting chap to listen too.

Let's see him actually debate a REAL public intellectual. He's too busy being platformed on Murdochs' sky news, spewing lies about Israel and palestine and criticizing woke while reaping the benefits of woke gay marriage for himself. He needs to be put in his place. I think he's too busy sitting atop his imaginary thrown, casting flak at vulnerable people and being a two-faced lier.

@@RodHartzell Even though I enjoyed listening to C.Hitchens though one of his strategies was to "win by condescension" and he got away with it because he was brilliantly witty and eloquent while doing it. @@Humanaut. I'm not sure I entirely agree with you on that. He would ridicule atrocious logic and ideas, which, more than likely deserved ridicule. I think there is a difference between condescension and ridicule. If you make an assertion that is positively unsupported by reality you would get the full take down. Although I do agree with you that Murray does seem to restrain himself from this form of rhetoric.

JOE, I was 68 when COVID hit. Here's what I did: I prayed. Never had a moment of fear of that silly man-made virus. But all of my older friends, if you can imagine people older than me at the time, were absolutely terrified by their damn doctors who freaking lied to them to get the COVID bonus. God will sort it out. No resentment. Just sadness, as my friends die one by one of odd cancers brain tumors and other unexplained things that they had no markers for. Btw, divisions between 'the right" and "the left" is becoming irrelevant for me - both have a few good arguments, i.e. the right is correctly criticizing the identity politics, the left is correctly criticising the military-industrial complex propaganda, especially on the support to Israeli wars
