i think everything in love island is pre planned. this wasn’t about sam going, it was also about samantha. the producers knew what was to come, knew grace was coming etc. and joey being joey essex would have his head turned and samantha would be dumped, and that couldn’t happen to the drama magnets that are harriett and jess or the public favourites nicole and mimii
