I'm so glad we get Joey rehab videos! I've just started getting a horse back into work after 7 months of box rest. We should be getting into polework and jumping soon! She still has a lot of weight to lose and fitness to regain. We'll get there!❤

I really want to watch but for me it’s at 1:00 am and I don’t want to stay up so I’ll just have to watch it tomorrow after it’s been streamed. If Joey got his injury with another owner, I don't think he would have made it. The bond between the two of you made him fight through it. We can all tell he really loves you, Esme. You're a strong rider, he's a strong horse, you're perfect for each other.

I know exactly what you mean. My horse recently suffered an injury to his leg that knocked him out of work, and it has been swollen for the past month. I haven't been able to jump at all with him being out of work, and he just yesterday got cleared to go back into slow work. Whether or not we get back to jumping in awhile, I am relieved that his leg won't affect him in the long run. So glad to hear that Joey is back to jumping and I am excited to see you journey continue!

It’s so nice to see the Joey is doing better and back to jumping. I remember seeing your post in December and being absolutely heartbroken and worried for him and you, so it just makes it so much happier that he’s doing much better and you hopefully will be able to get back to where you where beforehand. I remember walking my dark bay horse up from the paddock during the spring and being like oh he’s not too bad… then I’d start grooming and it was like a storm of dust, mud and horse hair! 😂 I never learned!
