My theory is staying strong. Death 1 Katherine the heiress ( she has to be knowledgeable aka books) there was a flower and a Diamond in the book game) Death 2 Shubble and Joel and there was a shell and a trident showed. Death 3 Scott he is trying break shells of protections. There is a cross and a sand dollar. Game 4 is Joel and fwhip

I understand the IRL reason why Joey had to win against Scott but I wasn't really happy with how they went about making sure Scott would lose. I hope there's a last second plot twist where Scott lives and swears revenge against both Joey and Lizzie 'cause that'd be a good hook for a season 2 of Escape The Night.

I feel like they should probably try to hide them rigging the game for Joey. Unless there is a reason as to why Scott couldn't be in the series anymore, he shouldn't have had to go out like that. He got the "What month of the year has 28 days?" question correct, because the drowned said "month" instead of "months". It's only one example where the game was clearly in favor of Joey. I liked ETN Minecraft a lot until this part. If Joey really has to go in a challenge, make him go into a challenge where he can't even die without rigging the game. That's what happened in every ETN so far, so there is no point switching it up like this

Yeah that was one of the downfalls of ETN. Loved the series but whenever it was Joey's turn to go up against someone it was very obvious the other person would lose because it's his game and he had plot armor which makes every game he partakes in unfair. I had foolishly gotten comfortable only for Joey to get the point for the "what needs to be broken for you to use it" as if glow stick was not the best answer....

Just a reminder tho it's all fun and games for them. It's fun to theorize and want your favorite person to win but it's roleplay and not too serious for them. Everyone started treating the newest season of the life series like this and it made it less fun for them. Just saying have your fun but don't ruin their fun

I know Lizzie helped him but I feel like she was told to because it shows her voting him, and she talks about her not wanted him around too. This episode was, honestly, still ok, but definitely the worst escape the night has done. The challenge was genuinely awful, and every time joey was unfairly given a point, my heart sank, as scott in this season is so fun, and while it is interesting, I'm not a fan of the overly villainous joey. I think the only thing i like is that everyone is now against joey, except maybe lizzy, and I'm eager to see how that plays out.

It might come across rigged in the favor of Joey but we did the best that we could given the situation at that time. As it is unscripted, lots of things happened in front of us that we didn’t expect / calculate for; this being one of them

Well this disproved my theory. I was starting to think the deaths were going in order of the people shown in the opening part. We had 1st Katherine and then Shubble died. I was kinda expecting Lizzie to die since she wasn't much help with the pearl hunt, and was the 3rd person shown.

@@cowplusdog5655That was kinda the point. Its an act, its a play, its a story?? Joey's character needs to survive and in order to do that without making it seem awkward Scott's character was an active threat against Joey. It makes sense for the game to be rigged and seem rigged because it's established that Joey is afraid of Scott's influence and will do what he can to erase him.

@@DefineObsessed getting way to defensive over this. and literally eveyrone can agree that this was very much awkward so idk where you got that point of "without making it seem awkward". he could've disguised it better or make it so Scott was gonna win but Joey betrays him by pushing him into the water. but it was just this lame ass thing :sob:
