Its a perfect parallel between the fact and the fiction . What she needs you to see (her image and her message) extremely upbeat AND the lyrics (her real feelings) sad ,conflicted and complex. Its about putting on a face to live and dealing with the problems that comes with it,so "making it believe",lying is an "honest" way to make people happy. I dont even like this genre of music ,BUT its a perfect theme for the anime and the main characters (Ai,Aqua and Ruby).
