Consensual polyamory is valid, and it's fine if a partner wants to stay home and do the housework. The only thing I think is wrong is having more kids than you can emotionally commit to. Using children to break some record isn't exactly the greatest look.

Right. A lot of people don't think about the remifications of having a tribe of kids. Many will be emotionally neglected and feel a lot of resentment. Populating the whole community is a COMMON fantasy for men....of every culture. But the kids grow into adults who badtalk their father all the time. I've heard it many times, especially from Africans.

When you start to go above 10 the kids will have so broad age span that the older ones will be independent. It's also not just one mom either, they are 4 that can share the workload. Well if you think about it them pooling their resources together will actually allow them to live quite well. They have a free housekeeper who loves them, they dont really have to worry about expenses since its split between each other, which means that they can save more personally to spend on what they want. Hell if they bought the house then they would only have to pay tax and utilities which means their expenses would be way lower than if they were to be in a monogamous relationship. Only issue I see is if they end up getting “bored” of their situation. But having 3+ people to rely on for anything is a great deal overall.

Housework is still work too. If he’s a good husband who takes care of their children and wives and everyone is happy with the situation I don’t see anything wrong with it. He’s not “the boss” of these women, he doesn’t need to assert dominance over them, nor is he “mooching off” of them if he’s taking care of the house and children while the women work, or is that just how men see housewives in general? That might be a very simple explanation as to why birth rates are declining lol. People who are housemakers should be valued more.

Honestly, i can see the value in this. You have a guy who is basically vetted by 4 other women as husband material-so husband they did not mind sharing. You dont need to entertain your husband daily, you get to have you independence, while you still get to have a child while you still could. There is essentially a form of insurance where 3 other women are financially supportive of your family. Its basically a co-op, a mutated revival of the communal supportive relationships in a village or multigenerational household from days bygone.
