UPDATE SEP. 13, 2016: Sorry everyone, no matter what i try, I can't get any more videos of this series uploaded due to BBC's copyright policy on youtube... I'm hoping to not completely abandon the project, but at this point I don't see how I'm going to share these videos with you all. I may have to upload on a different platform and link it to a youtube video.
A video in tribute to the relationship of John Thornton and Margaret Hale from BBC's North & South. Part 1 is entirely comprised of Episode 1 of the miniseries. Parts 2, 3 and 4 to come! Enjoy! :D

Hi everyone! First of all, I just want to say, I can’t thank you all enough for 400,000 VIEWS!! This fan vid has gone far beyond my expectations, and it couldn’t have happened without you! Now, another update for you... I’ve been pretty inactive lately since I started my graduate program. Apologies! I definitely plan to get back to making videos as soon as I can, and in particular, I’m determined to find a way to get parts 2, 3 and 4 of this N&S series to work, despite the copyright restrictions. Keep your fingers crossed!! 🤞🏻

so sad that the BBC is so... well.. it's not that they give a crap, since this movie is nowhere to be found for streaming and outside the UK only for sale in a short version on DVD...

So upset that Netflix took this show off. I hate when they do that, just because it was on there for awhile. It’s one of the best shows ever! And I just love the music. ❤️

This series is a great combination of romance, heart break, poverty, misery and kindness. Such a strong plot and amazing actors. Loved every minute of it. One of the best classics for sure.

It is my favourite period series ever!!I watch it every christmas .It combines a great romance,social commentary by depicting society during the Industrial Revolution, wonderful delineation of the characters .Thank you for your beautiful video!

Richard Armitage would make an excellent Darcy 💋💋💋💋 love this man ‘s acting .He’s drop dead handsome the emotion she shows makes my knees weak. Makes my heart race trying not to skip a beat .. oh Lordy ..I’d drool to see him play the Count of Monte Cristo ..his voice mmmm ty for what Little we get to see of it 😻🥰

Yes, he’d make a wonderful Mr Darcy though my girls & I loved Matthew Macfadyen from Joe Wright’s Pride & Prejudice 2005. His march around foggy field was to die for, bravo 👏, well done! That said, I’ll never forget N&S when Mr Thornton says, “look back at me”. Captivating, longing, romantic, true love. When Margaret finally misses him, he searches for her & they reunite, well worth the waiting & watching. And wait we must, can’t seem to find this series streaming anywhere. Worth purchase if available. Fine Period Classic!!!

It seems that the full episodes of the miniseries have been taken off youtube. I can no longer find them on here, and I have watched this entire miniseries several times before on youtube. What a shame.

It's a few different songs, all of which are from the North & South soundtrack! I believe the first is the main theme from the series and the last is called Thornton's Walk.

Larsa Saad ive made and remade parts 2, 3 and 4 several times and uploaded them, but KZfaq's copyright policy has gotten stricter since I've made part 1, and they keep getting taken down. I'm still working on getting the video through :/ hopefully someday...

Rocketfoot7 check out the channel of Poldarked Fangirl. She had the same problem that you did, but has seemed to have found a solution, which though time consuming for her, seems to have worked at least for now.

Hate to be a party pooper, but in real life, a handsome, overconfident, mother-bonded man known to have temper outbursts, bad communication skills and questionable empathy is almost always bad news. Learn from others' experience if you are wise. ;)

The whole point of thorntons arc is that he become more independent from his mom and learns to humble himself and calm his temper. Only then does Margaret begin to love him.
