If they don’t win tonight it is a failure, there’s only so many times you can sugar coat it saying things like “getting to a final is a win in itself”….no its not, we’ve been in two finals in 3 years, with the quality we have in this england team we should expect nothing but the win, no more excuses, no more being the bridesmaid England need to finally win a trophy.

lampard's the best choice, he's 1 of the best goal scoring midfielders of all time, he's a leader, he's won everything at club level, he also did just as good as howe at club level as a manager getting chelsea into the top 4 & howe has won nothing as a player or manager

As much as I don't rate Southgate, I don't see the point in changing him unless we can get an Elite foreign coach in. A Tuchel, a Mourinho or a Klopp. Howe is overrated and Potter flourishes at Clubs where expectation is low. As for 'Having gone down the foreign manager route and it failed' argument, Eriksson and Capello were not elite coaches, the latter maybe being Elite in Italy but not out of Italy.

Howe is NOT the perfect candidate, what are you talking about. He's not far off Southgate 2! Zero charisma, pragmatic, strewth! The England players are playing for Pep, Arteta and Ancelotti so at least they need an exciting attacking manager like Wenger or Klopp. Either would be perfect. Wake up FA!! 🙄
