It’s crazy to watch how John takes over the whole scene pretty quickly by just doing light a light version of his schtick…and these two, who are pretty good at what they do, don’t quite know what to do with it except just go with the flow. Just shows his genius really, he’s super rare.

Shows like this kinda creep me out for this reason. Everything is so fake and forced. This entire format is dying so hard right now just like late night TV hosts. The smart ones like Conan are getting out before they are forced out, but these morning shows probably won't be around for more than another decade.
@moonshine8990
@moonshine8990 5 жыл бұрын
@@psycold You do realize that this show is called GMA (Good Morning America) Day right? They've literally started adding in more shows past the normal morning time slots into the regular day. Now I totally agree with the fake and forced laughing/applauding Shows like these are scripted to the second including the applause prompts from crew off camera telling the sheep when to applaud or laugh on Que. Just watch anytime a guest starts to ramble or go off topics the hosts have not been scripted for. The longer it goes the more panic sets in and you see them scramble to get the guest back on script. lol Can't be having any kind of genuine conversation going on. 74th commercial break is coming up in 30 seconds and they gotta get those sound bite/clips recorded for their website/youtube. Basically everything is bullshit these days. Authenticity is irrelevant to them.

I was an audience member of a morning show in L.A. back in the 80s and, yes, it was all scripted. They actually had signs that would light up....one said "LAUGH" and another said "APPLAUD" The crew members explained that we were to smile big when the cameras panned us.

Male Therapist : So, Dale. I don't know how much you know about therapy, but it usually starts by you telling me a little something about yourself. Dale Doback : I work at a college as a janitor even though I feel like I'm smarter than most of the people who go there. Sometimes I see an equation written on a blackboard like half an equation and... I just figure it out. Male Therapist : Is this Good Will Hunting? Dale Doback : No. Male Therapist : It sounds a lot like the plot of Good Will Hunting. Dale Doback : Yeah, anyway. My best friend is Ben Affleck...
