Wow! 30 years after the original recording and Cafferty sounds amazing! He and the sax player are the standouts here. On The Dark Side has to be one of the best tunes written for a 'fake band'.

This is definitely an iconic movie. The music is incredible good actors. No matter when you hear these songs you just want to dance definitely sing along. Movies like these are not made anymore.

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band concerts were always one big party. He keeps the audience going just like Peter Wolf did w/J. Geils Band. Every concert was a House Party. Saw them many times here in New England where they're started. From the Rhode Island Shores up to the Maine Coast, they're Summertime shows would blow you away.

When this song was on the radio back then, I used to think it was Bruce Springsteen. What an awesome song though, I love the pumpin’ bass and drums.

Dear flashy 5150 when the song first came out on the radio on a.m. I thought this was Bruce Springsteen and e Street band but it was John cafferty in The Beaver Brown band. He still has the sound as Bruce Springsteen. I like the movie Eddie and the cruisers. It was a great movie and at the end you see him with the beard looking out than the mirror and you see his reflection and he's still alive he just left because he couldn't take any more because one of his saxophone players died at the movie at the movie and he just had a nervous breakdown he just went up to Canada the flea to get out of the music business. But when the second movie came out he came back and Eddie lives. I like the second movie when it was called Eddie and the cruisers part 2 Eddie lives.

This band is just as good as some of the better known bands,yet you only heard a couple of their songs played on the radio! & those are seldom heard! Seems like someone really dropped the ball!!!

I met him, he did a show at our college and before the show he went and checked out our weight room, when he came back to the locker room I was getting stuff out of my locker including two liters of Kamikaze. I didn't know it was him, we passed a few words, I offered him a swig of Kamikaze, he passed, so I met with some friends and sure as shit I watched him take the stage and was like "I met John Cafferty!!!!!"

I have seen them at the iconic casino by the sea, in Falmouth, Cape Cod, they were amazing, those were good times!!! I now live in Florida, I heard it's all gone ,commercialize and ruined!!!!

I lived in SomersPoint when the movie was made. My teenage neighbor was an extra in the bar scene. Her scene was however edited out. The Brown Beaver band played at the last beach concert in Somers Point this year. What a group , plenty of life and great history. 2 song of the set and people went crazy. Same sax player !

'I love my oldies and goodies. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't even listen too music. We don't have any real singers today. It's not about how you perform on stage any more. It's who you know. And who you keep in the white house!! This was the days when people had to work for what they got. They wasn't pushed up the ladder. Like u see theses singers today. Our good singer are gone. Listening in 2021

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Bank. His voice is different as I understand he's not as young as he was when he did Eddie. Eddie and the Cruisers is a good movie and helped John Cafferty along with his career.

Eddie and the Cruisers 2 is my favorite movie of all time. I have been trying to find out what the name of the song that is sung when he is at the cabin up in the mountains and has the heavy saxophone part. what the heck is the name of that song? Ugh.
