Turning under some sod getting ready to plant corn. The 4430 sounds good making the dirt roll.

Wow. I didn't know anyone was still using moldboard plows. Tried and true. I agree with others here: Watching that dirt roll is somehow very satisfying. Love it.

I don't moldboard everything but I do when I crop new ground. This field had been in hay for years. Turn the sod under and I want plow it again for a few years. I love to do it though. Thanks for watching!!

I pulled an IHC 6--16 PLOW WITH A 4440 JOHN DEERE TURNED UNDER 80 ACRES OF 6 TO 8 FOOT HIGH Sorghum sudan grass as a green manure crop....on Cotton ground

The 4430 would definitely pull more plows but that's what I have and didn't have much to do. I sure do like turning under ground. Thanks!!
