It's good to see the overhauled tractor putting in work. I'm glad to see all your hard work paying you back little at a time till the next video. Thanks for sharing.

You have more guts than I do. If I just rebuilt the engine I would stay in the field for a a while. Being my luck it would blow up on the road.

Great looking set up! If you don’t mind me asking what size bush hog is that? I just acquired a 4430 and really like the 3 point hitch bush hogs.

Thanks for watching. Yeah it’s a HX 14 so I’m guessing it’s a 14 foot. Congrats on the 4430, what year is it and how many hours are on it?
@dreid00124 ай бұрын
@@Hinesfarm-Indiana it’s a 1973, and the person I bought it from said 6500 hours, I think the tach has been replaced, but it’s had its engine replaced with a motor out of a combine. The guy I bought it from was the 2nd owner and his neighbor was the original owner. It’s a little rough around the edges right now but working on fixing it up. Just a fun project over the next year or so. I’m a huge John Deere fan and have collected 1/16 diecast scale tractors all my life. I have a smaller farm and will eventually use the 4430 to cut/bale hay and bush hog.

@@dreid0012 that’s not bad hours for a 73, we have a 4955 that’s got almost 12k on it and it’s a 1989

The 48 sounds great, are you going to dyno it sometime?
@Hinesfarm-Indiana4 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. Yeah if I knew of someone who had a dyno I’d check it, but nobody around here has one that I know of.
