Hi, No fuel related problems yet, knock on wood. Every now and then it'll give what we call the 'Red Ring of Death' show up on dash and just stop moving. They've always been able to shift back to Park and/or shut it off and restart and it's ok, only happens once or twice a year. It has over 1400 hours on it and has been a good tractor. The only real repair has been a gasket between the water pump and the block. The water pump can't just be unbolted and removed, you have to pull the crankshaft pulley and us a puller to pull it almost all the way of but not quite off and then the one bolt can be removed. From the factory it only had very thin layer of sealant instead of a $6 gasket and about $250-300 labor from a independent mechanic and it was fixed. A friend of ours has a 5115M that had a fuel sensor go bad and the dealer kept telling him it was water in the fuel but the dealer was wrong. It was under warranty and after he drained the entire system twice and put fresh fuel in the dealer finally came and picked it up and fixed. Good luck!

@@SuperHerefords thanks for the water pump info...My 5065m is looking water somewhere at the rate of a quart every 10 hours or so. May be a pump gasket? May be a hose? Will find it one of these days.

I believe it's the standard 14˚ blades like that comes on them. Is it pushing them down in thin spots or just about anywhere? Sorry I just saw this question. They keep good sharp blades on it. A set of blades cost about what a round bale of hay cost.

It's been trouble free so far. One thing I think we would do different if we bought another is move up one size and get a swivel gearbox hitch instead of the std. tongue, the driveline runs smoother on the swivel hitch models. We saw the new model at a farm show recently and they have renumbered them and made some changes. They now have quick change blades which would be very nice. They also changed the design of the rubber curtains. Pros are it take less HP to pull than the smaller Kuhn we had before. Cons are it's a real pain to clean up because it has so many nooks and crannies for dirt and crop to build up in. It wouldn't get much dirt sprayed on it if it weren't for fire ant mounds in hay fields. To clean it properly can take 2-3 hours. It also doesn't cutoff short thin crop very well. The new models are numbered 209 for the 9' and 210 for the 10'. Hope this helps.
