In this video I replace the right glass door on a 6420 John Deere tractor, and I show you what the controls for the machete brush cutter attachment do. I attribute my successes to god and give him the glory.

Tinting one right now. this helped find out how to get the glass out and broken down. Thanks!

The weatherstripping has to stretch a little when being applied. It is not short. I found it easy to install the stripping by laying the glass on a table with the cardboard shipping blocks under it. I could stretch it and use large pliers to crimp it evenly. Thank you for this video. It was very helpful! 4 stars worthy. I'm like the other guy who wanted it slowed down during the parts assembly to show the correct idea of washers and the door handle, but this video is still excellent.

We have the Alamo's also but are currently replacing them with MowerMax units.. nice job 👍

I’m working on this mower right now. It has a few controls that are doing what they want intermittently. It’s a bit of a learning experience figuring it all out. They are all electrical problems. I’ll have a video on it later.

I have this same repair to do. I think I can do it after watching this, so thank you. It would have been more helpful if you didn't speed up some of the technical parts. Otherwise, great video.

There really isn’t too much to it. The hardest part was needing a second person to hold the glass while you start the screws that hold it on.

The knob at the bottom the long handle, how do you seperate it?

Do you mean on the long handle? There should be a cap on the outside and a screw under it on the outside. Look at 5:40

The reason the holes come predrilled is because it's tempered glass, it has to be drilled before you temper it, annealed and laminated glass are too heavy and too weak for that application

That’s pretty interesting. Now I have to look up how glass is tempered.
