I way undercharge I guess.. I fixed a 345 awhile back that caught on fire. and burned a lot of the wiring harness up, melted the dash.. fuel lines. etc.. and that bill was still way less than 1k. yeah, it wasn't the normal leaky valve cover leaking on exhaust fire that 345's get. was an electrical fire.

To bad you can not mention the dealership. Total rip off just to make money. Great diagnosis and repair. Thanks for the videos.

I get a lot of mowers from JD dealership to fix because of the price and most importantly people don’t think they are mechanics just parts replacing 😢😢😢 I’m shocked at the price they tell them 😢😢😢

Yes the reg has a separate ground wire for it and must be connected to charge battery

This is a common problem with terminal when the battery is bad and system is overheating and overcharging This system is not built to charge up a bad battery folks 😮😮😮

Dealership is a joke, it’s a place to get trained or a starting place for kids 😢😢😢

I don't know where your Relatives took the mower. $1,000.00 seems to be John Deere Dealerships magic number. It could need a $20.00 part. Doesn't matter what it needs, that always seems to be their starting point. Guarantee, they were going to change the entire wire harness. 🤑
