This John Deere L110 came in for a drive belt and transmission fan repair. Turns out, there were a lot more issues with it that needed to get sorted out, including issues with the starter and flywheel and the mower only running on one cylinder. In this video I fix all of these issues to make it a reliable mower again.

Welcome to the John Deere L110, nicknamed, The Basket Case. Anything that can go wrong, did go wrong, she chooches like a freight train, she surges like a lady on Saturday night. I'd want to do the governor spring adjustment to increase top RPM throttle, its a tad low. This is not my favorite machine, I aint gonna lie. The minute an X500 or X700 shows up, be sure to make a video, cause I think those are really nice machines. The X300 machines are also decent for smaller yard consumer manicured properties.

Leak down test and see what you have 😢, Looks like a wantbe been playing with it😢😢😢😢 Going to be a slow rebuild and costly fix , green paint not worth it
