Goes to show what a simple mundane thing like a lawnmower, a welder, and a little bit of imagination can do. I am in the process working on my own rat rod mower. I’ve had a blast every step of the way truly is a special community can’t wait to be apart of the custom lawn mower crowd 😎🤙🏻🤙🏻

I fixed a craftsman riding mower (with a B&S engine) that had a popped valve seat just like yours. I used a punch and peened the case over the edge of the ring. The mower has worked for years since I fixed it. The seat pops out due to overheating

Had the valve seat come out on me as well. I just jammed it back in and then dot punch around it to hold it in place. Raced it about 6 times since then and it's still going strong.

Get a craftsman mower if you want to lower it for the rear you just flip the brackets same for the front and they are super common
