Fucking love Brodequin and John Engman. Chad Walls as well. For you who doesn't know what song it is: It's "Slaves to the Pyre" from Methods of Execution.

This guy is a factory that runs on bonghits, I used to know him when he worked at Earwax in Milwaukee.

Foetopsy has been back together for quite some time now. My band just played with them the other day. They're recording a new record.

like average Metal drumming, doesn't mean you judge their full talent and skill off their Radio work, you have to think about underground Jam Sessions which Jimmy Sullivan had a lot of,that's where they show their skill and any real Metal fan understands that.

it's a fucking shame he left, Brodequin might not be able to continue if they don't find a drummer. SOMEONE STEP UP!

I liked Walls a bit better than Engman. "Blood of the Martyrs" featured some brilliantly creative drum lines.

First of all, you can either call it Hyperblasts or Suffocationblasts because Mike Smith of Suffocation invented that technique and he did it long before Cryptopsy ever existed as a well known band.

Well you think THAT'S a bad comparison, the guy Warwick487 compared Travis Barker to this guy so I threw shit back at him,and yeah but they both show simple to comprehend similarities!,they both can Drum fast as hell but can put them an a Rhythm out of this world but like I said,The Rev could do it 10 times better. Also:Asshole Avenged Sevenfold actually has Instrumental underground work from sometime in 2002 that was virtually identical to this, and just because 90% of Mainstream Metal sound

I thought gravity blasting was a very easy tecnique to learn. hyperblasting takes much more time to get down, and a lot more difficult. Props to engman man!! he fucking rocks!!! good influence.

Ehm stupid lol, almoest everyone can do gravity blast it isnt hard at all, im a drummer myself so i know. But this hyper blast jon engmand does you first need to have VERY strong hands as you see he doesnt trigger at all only mick , and for the last you need to be really extremely fast in your hands. I´ve never seen a drummer like jon engman that speed is sick.

@warwick487 The Rev was better than this, and he was a Mainstreem Drummer, which you would think wouldn't prove himself but he really made Percussion his bitch, but as for this guy,Hes fast but has ok rhythm,Jimmy Sullivan was freakishly fast, and put it in a rhythm as if he was a master.
