No gimmicks. No ridiculous costumes. No special effects. No autotune or enhancements of any kind. Just 3 people with 3 brilliant voices reminding us all what true singing and artistry is. Yearn for those days again.

I couldn't agree with you more. I will never understand why people spend hunderds of dollars to see a big show that takes a lot of waiting around while the artist goes and gets changed. Give me John Farnham's concerts every time. Those are the concerts worth paying for. The only other people I've seen in concert was Phil Collins, New Kids On The Block (Hey, I was 12 and it was a gift from my Mum), Tina Arena, MC Hammer and Janet Jackson. The concerts that have really stuck in my memory? John Farnham and Phil Collins.

Just watched the 2017 version of this courtesy of Anthony Callea. Carols in the domain. Either they’d seen this or they should have. Their’s was nice but doesn’t hold a candle (see what I did there?) to this one. This still makes my eyes think someone is peeling onions. All time must see by all on the planet.

I was getting over my second cancer op and someone must have been praying for me because I remember feeling like someone had shot me in the heart and that was the hour I first believed and by the way..no more cancer 😁 🙏

I was introduced to John Farnham's music by an army buddy in 1989. It is sad that his music is hard to find here in the USA and really unheard of if you ask about it in "RECORD STORES". This country doesn't know what its missing!

Even tho John Farnham isnt big in the USA he Still made the Charts His 80s Iconic pop/Rock Anthem You're The Voice When it was Eventually Released In the USA In 1990 it Became Number #82 on the US Billboard hot 100 stayed on the Chart for 5 weeks and In 1989 His number #1 Hit song Two strong Hearts was Realesed in the USA and Became Number #38 on the US Adult Contemporary Charts and stayed there for 4 weeks Straight Age of Reason Was Realesed in the USA but the Date Is Unknown So John is Known in the USA He just isnt as big and Huge as he is in places Like Here in Australia or Canada or UK or Germany or Ireland or sweeden or Denmark And even New Zealand... But he is well known in some parts of the USA Without a Doubt so I find it hard How he isnt Known in the US I find that Extremely Hard to Believe

Can't stop watching this. The past week I've found myself here daily for close to half an hour, healing my soul and trying to find some peace. It's worked every time, and every time i cry the happiest, warmest salty tears. Music will play its part in making our world a better place, it brightens mine every day Xx

I so adore Venetta Fields! Her voice is so incredibly moving and I always love hearing her sing with John Farnham et al. She always makes his concert, truly.

Saw this in Sydney in 1986/87. Apparently when they went to Adelaide, Stevie Wonder was in town and he joined them on stage for this number... OMG that would have been through the roof!

To think I spend a day a week with this LEGEND. I have read a lot of the comments and No one has mentioned her work with BARBRA STREISAND. Venetta stared along with Barbra in "A STAR IS BORN" in 1976. Her Vocal coaching is incredible. And she has not lost any of that awesome voice. Proud to be coached by Venetta on the Gold Coast QLD Australia

She was a backup for Bob Seger too was she not?? Amazing voice, and for me, this is the greatest version of Amazing Grace to this day. Have been watching it for 30+ years now. John Farnham was my boy back when I was a little fella. ✌

Venetta whilst in the Blackberries was also amazing back in the 70’s, they were backup singers to Steve Marriott and Humble Pie. Check out Humble Pie’s live version of “Black Coffee”.

Freddie Mercury's voice is not as powerful as John's. And besides, Freddie's voice didn't have the longevity especially in live performances in the 80's.@@MrKdr500

Always loved Venetta's voice. She is so good. If people ever look at her career, they will see she was one of the Ikettes which were backup singers for Tina Turner. She has worked with so many famous people during her career in America. I think John is blessed to have her back him here in Australia and I am sure he respects her and her talented voice.

This is where I come when I need a few moments respite from whatever is going on around me, or even in the world. Life is no longer as simple as it was in my childhood (my 20th birthday was in 1964, so childhood was sometime ago. ) - all you people who got to see Farnsey live - what an experience, lucky you. But at least I get to see all the videos on you tube, play them every day. He's gold, pure gold. March'24. UK. E ❤

I have had the Honour of seeing John Farnham live a few times in my life. And He is an Awesome Singer, along with his two Greatest Back up singers, Venetta Fields and Lindsey Field! I was born in late December '63 and yes my childhood was so much simpler and happier and unfortunately Life is no longer that simple.This is also where I come when I am needing a break from life. It's Wonderful to be able to come here and see and enjoy all of Farnsey's music. April 2024 Qld, Australia ❤

@JohnFarnhamChannel Age of Reason tour, I worked for BMG in Netherlands we went to see the concert and meet afterwards I think was in Dusseldorf (or maybe Frankfurt... senior moment sorry), I was trying to find out a songtitle of a LRB song with your vocals, I had heard it on radio so often but never caught the title. we sat down on the stairs with a beer and sang the chorus together and then at last you told me: it was Forever Blue

It's June 2013 and my daughter is a student of this Legend. Venetta has not lost any vocal ability at all and still looks as young and vibrant. Truly a gifted singer and a lovely warm hearted person.
