John Edward Alite, is an American former Gambino crime family associate, who later in his life became a government witness, agreeing to testify against the crime family and John A. "Junior" Gotti in 2008.
John at a young age was already surrounded by mob royalty which lead him to a future of crime and violence. Ultimately an enforcer for the Gambino family.

When the cops checked they found out there were warrants out for him on the US so contacted the US Embassy. They flew a few people down there to pick him up and fly him back to the US where he rolled over and tried to make out what a big shot and attempted to supply top info on the Gambinos. He was a nobody as they never nailed any big mobsters from his BS. Like I have already said he was a wannabe Cosa Nostra member, which is why he tried to change his name to make himself appear more Italian. How tf is this guy still getting interviewed?? On damn near everyone I've saw, he's contradicted himself so many times, you'd think anyone who's a legitimate journalists or podcaster seeking legitimacy, that they'd stay away from him. I'm not 100 % sure on this but I think the PBD interview was one of his first big ones that kinda put him his name on the social media map. Pat literally asks him who's the most feared and John says without a doubt it was Sammy and Joe Watts. Its obvious that this guy is a lot bigger in his own mind than he was perceived by any of the families. Everyone either thinks hes a clown, or simply had never heard of him, Lol. Only Russo and Raimondi seem to embellish even more. Hes always calling guys out "on behalf of the kids." But it feels more like he does everything in his power to get people to perceive that he was some big guy on the level of Michael or Sammy. I would suggest watching someone like Anthony Ruggiano or Frank Dimatteo instead. They just give you straight accounts, without constantly trying to get into pissing contests with others, in order to build their "brand."
