At around minute 35, when he describes the "shared cultural values" of the US and Israel, he says that the US does not legally discriminate by virtue of race etc. and Israel does. However, the "shared cultural values" that the US and Israel do have relate to the colonization of a native people. The "Palestinians" are of the same category as the "Native Americans." Which is to say that they are both loose coalitions of tribes that are viewed by the colonizing force as homogenous. In other words, the shared cultural heritage nonsense is equally applicable to all of the last 500 years worth of colonial empires. I'd also like to add that Mearsheimer specifically says that the Israeli lobby does not "control" US policy, but that the lobbies efforts were "extremely effective." Hilarious stuff, that obligatory political correctness.

The difference is that America's oppression of native Americans and blacks has been discontinued and nobody today defends it. Blacks, native Americans, Hawaiians, etc., have the same rights as Anglos, including the right to reproduce in such numbers that they outnumber whites and can cast more votes. .

Anglos will soon be in the minority if they are not already. I recall a projection for Arizona schools a few decades ago that had the proportion of Hispanic students at some 40% of school-age children within a decade, @@DucksDeLucks It must be more than that by now.

Also the native Americans were stone age people with no written language, math, technology etc. The Palestinians had a very ancient culture than included mathematics, written language, use of modern technology etc.

John Mearshheimer has to speak like his words are landmines because of all the nuts that hate Jewish people & Israel, that's John's main point; *"we can't even properly discuss American-Israeli rationally because of all the Antisemitism."* John's main point is, that longterm, Israel's only option is a two state solution. Better sooner rather than later....because one day America will withdraw its support, look at what Obama did, he threw the Israelis under the Iranian nuclear bus. The fact is, American and Israeli interests are never going to be the same, one has 8m the other fas 330m, one spans the western hemisphere the other is miniscule.

Bad analogy between Israel lobby and NRA/gun lobby. 100+ million Americans own guns, many of whom own multiple. They have "skin in the game" and the lobby supports their interests. There aren't 100+ million Americans who identify with Israel, have been there, or think about it politically.

He is very blunt and confident. He sees where the future is heading regarding Israel. Israel is going back to its Judaic Eastern roots.

*_- don't be lawyerish - i-pace make laws in this country making the legal system adopt 70 ,000 new laws & legal acts per year. It's not a mockery, it's an elaborate system of cheating & misusing the legal system_* THE VERDICTS ARE BEING SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER, & there is no public opinion - newspapers & tv-stations are bought by the transcorporations & social media are the fake olygarchs' private items, controlled & owned by the secret services.
