Kerry flew to Switzerland to attend that Davos crap in his private plane. Journalists asked him if it wasn't hypocritical to use a private plane and his answer was "I need it. I travel a lot and have many appointments that I couldn't meet with commercial flights." I saw it on the news and heard him say that. There's probably a KZfaq video on this.

Same thing happened during his presidential campaign. If I remember correctly, he showed up at the Grand Canyon with a number of large SUV's. When questioned about the "large carbon footprint" he was laying he said that the SUV's weren't his. "These cars were leased by my wife".

I don't understand why he didn't just say, "Well that depends upon what the definition of "is" is." As I remember that worked pretty well for Slick Willy. But seriously, unless the jet was purchased by his wife prior to their marriage, in 1970, then it is considered "marital property" by Massachusetts law. And should he have divorced his wife while THEY owned the jet I am certain that he and his divorce lawyer would agree.

Evergreen Solar was a company that the Clinton’s invested heavily in. They were given a massive building at Fort Devens Industrial Park. Gov Duval Patrick had an agreement that Evergreen would produce solar panels at that facility hiring hundreds of people. Manufacturing equipment was shipped in from China set up for the media but never used. The equipment was shipped back to China where the solar panels would be manufactured and then shipped to the facility at Fort Devens for distribution only. Evergreen paid millions of dollars in penalties for breaking their contract. I’m sure Kerry being a politician from Massachusetts had invested in Evergreen!
