After her initial outburst, you can see her trying at 2:54, but can't hear her. Then you can hear her shrieking again at 3:12. After that you can see her trying that bullshit several times, but the mic is off. It's like they gave her a second chance and she still blew it. I don't know why they mic'd her up in the first place, as if beating on that drum added anything to the song.

@aleahlrb
@aleahlrb 4 ай бұрын
Isn't her shrieking part of her performance roster? As in a few stuff she released before and after this included her shrieks. With that context, and that John had collaborated in a few of these performances, I think this might've been part of the performance from the start. She also only shrieked in the choruses. If she really wanted to ruin the performance and take up the spotlight, she would've screamed at least once in every verse, so I think it was supposed to be part of the performance. Also, in the rest of the set, she seemed to be having fun and dancing along. If she really wanted to ruin the performance and had been foiled, she probably should've been more stiff. Edit: watched the second part, nevermind. 🤣🤣🤣

This is not a concert. This is The Mike Douglas Show. John co-hosted for a week. Every week there was a different co-host. The producers would ask each co-host was there anyone in particular they would like to have as a guest and the show would try to book that person for them. John must have requested Chuck Berry.

Gracias a canciones como "Maybellene" (1955), "Roll Over Beethoven" (1956), "Rock and Roll Music" (1957) y "Johnny B. Goode" (1958), Berry redefinió los elementos del rhythm and blues.[4]
