John's heroin use thru the 70s has been airbrushed out of the main stream narrative, this was fascinating, and cocaine before his performances!!

I've talked to people in New York that said Lennon was using drugs all the way up to his death. And Yoko Ono actually admitted it because she said she continued to use drugs after John died

@@mr.smithgnrsmith7808 it’s my understanding from the various media I’ve read and watched about this that he was using pretty heavily at that time, but tried to be relatively sober (ie only alcohol and grass) at the studio

Injecting - that’s a well known fact. It’s the the Beatles drug book. They got hooked on a lot of different things and struggled really hard throughout their entire relationship to get clean.

I have heard an individual state, doing anything but injecting heroin is a waste of heroin.
